TEXTURE GENERATION SYSTEM
20170287201 · 2017-10-05 ·

A texture generation system includes a display terminal for displaying a three-dimensional map, a map database, a matrix, and a texture generating unit. The map database includes a three-dimensional model representing a three-dimensional shape of a feature with at least one polygon and a plurality of types of unit textures. Each pixel of the matrix stores a control value for controlling selection of the unit texture. The texture generating unit generates a texture for the polygon as an array of a plurality of unit textures with at least two types, by associating each position of the array with a pixel of the matrix, selecting one of the plurality of types of the unit textures for each position based on the control value at the pixel associated therewith, and arranging and pasting the selected unit texture onto each position, thereby providing the array of the unit textures on the polygon.

PERSISTING ANNOTATIONS APPLIED TO AN ELECTRONIC HOSTED WHITEBOARD

A plurality of annotations can be received for a presentation presented in a web conference. For each of the plurality of annotations, a respective portion of the presentation to which the annotation pertains can be determined, and a respective relevance parameter can be assigned to the annotation. The relevance parameter can indicate a relevance of the annotation to the respective portion of the presentation to which the annotation pertains. For each of the plurality of annotations, the annotation can be assigned to a respective location of a view based on the relevance parameter assigned to the annotation and the annotation can be presented in the respective location of the view to which the annotation is assigned.

Structurally compact display assembly

A media display assembly that has a base assembly, including a base and a steel plate, which forms a front surface of the base assembly and is removeably affixed to the base. Also, a cover includes a polymeric sheet having transparent display portion and a rearward extending peripheral wall, the peripheral wall snugly fitting the base assembly. Finally, display media is interposed between the steel plate and the cover.

Head mounted display apparatus, information terminal, and methods and information storage devices for controlling head mounted display apparatus and information terminal

A head mounted display (HMD) apparatus including a head posture information sensor for sensing a value of a head posture information and a display for displaying an image in a display area. An information terminal (IT) including an IT-side sensor for sensing a value of an IT-side information. In a first control mode the IT transmits a first control mode information to the HMD apparatus, wherein the first control mode information is determined based on a received first value of the head posture information and the value of the IT-side information, and the HMD apparatus sets the image to be displayed based on the first control mode information. In a second control mode, the HMD apparatus sets the image to be displayed based on a second value of the head posture information. Methods and information storage devices storing programs for controlling the HMD apparatus and IT are also provided.

Measurement data display device

A measurement data display device includes a screen displaying at least one icon representing a data file in which measurement and location data indicating a location where the measurement data was measured are recorded in association with each other, and also displays a window for displaying a map; and a display control part controlling display on the screen. When the icon is moved onto the window, the display control part displays a predetermined type of symbol determined in advance depending on a value of the measurement data at a position on the map indicated by the location data corresponding to the measurement data. The measurement data display device allows the measurement data measured at an arbitrary location to be displayed with only a simple screen operation, at a location on the map corresponding to the place where the measurement was performed and for each time the measurement was performed.

Method and apparatus for providing mapping of geo locations on schematic maps

An approach is provided for providing instantaneous and efficient mapping of geographic locations on to a schematic map. A map generation platform designates one or more reference locations for creating at least one schematic map associated with at least one schematic coordinate system. The map generation platform also creates at least one triangular mesh based, at least in part, on one or more geographic coordinates of the one or more reference locations, wherein the one or more geographic coordinates of the one or more reference locations represent one or more vertices of the triangular mesh. Further, the one or more geographic coordinates of one or more non-reference locations are mapped to the at least one triangular mesh, and then morphed for placing them on the at least one schematic map.

ROUTE AQUISITION SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

Route acquisition systems, methods, and programs receive input of a plurality of destination locations and acquire a visit history that indicates a history of visit locations visited previously together with an order of visit to the visit locations. The systems, methods, and programs refer to the visit history which includes the visit locations which match the plurality of destination locations, set an order of visit to the plurality of destination locations on a basis of the order of visit to the visit locations which is indicated in the visit history, and acquire a route for visit to the plurality of destination locations.

Diet Quality Photo Navigation
20170243513 · 2017-08-24 ·

A method for translating levels of diet quality into photographic representations of dietary pattern. The method includes the steps of (a) using a diet quality measure to identify a plurality of dietary patterns that each represent a level of diet quality for a period of time; (b) assigning a dietary score to each of the plurality of dietary patterns; (c) converting the plurality of dietary patterns into representative dietary patterns; and (d) converting the representative dietary patterns into food photographs. The food photographs depict the photographic representation of the dietary patterns for the period of time. The photographic representations of dietary patterns can be used to establish an individual or household's dietary pattern and can be incorporated into programs to navigate a user from a current dietary pattern to a more optimal dietary pattern.
