GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR TIME SERIES DATA
20210397333 · 2021-12-23 ·

Presenting aggregate data, comprising aggregate data elements, in a chart in a graphic user interface (GUI) of a computer, each aggregate data element based on component data and corresponding to a particular time, and the chart characterized by a first axis scaled in time, a second axis orthogonal to the first axis and scaled in units of the aggregate data, and a plurality of aggregate data element symbols, each symbol positioned at a particular time along the first axis and having a value along the second axis corresponding to a particular value of the aggregate data element corresponding to the particular time. Receiving a selection of a symbol from the presented symbols. Indicating the received selection in the GUI. Displaying, in response to the received selection, the corresponding plurality of component data on or adjacent to the symbol.

RICH MARKER FOR MAPPING APPLICATIONS
20210398332 · 2021-12-23 ·

A computer displays a marker indicating a point-of-interest in a map display. The marker is characterized by a pole and a polar axis. The marker includes a band characterized by a radial width between an inner radial edge and an outer radial edge in relation to the pole, and an angular extent in relation to the polar axis. At least one of the radial width and the angular extent is a function of a feature of the point-of-interest.

Overview user interface of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency

Techniques in this disclosure may provide a user interface that concurrently displays multiple panels which provide visualization of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency. The user interface can provide a high-level overview of emergency calls in a geographical area. Each panel in the user interface can provide visualization of the emergency calls and/or statistics relating to the calls. A user can customize which panels to include in the user interface and/or customize setting for each panel. The user may apply various types of filters to the data displayed in the user interface, and the panels can update the visualizations according to the filters. The user interface can also provide the ability to show data at various levels of detail within the same user interface or panel. The techniques in the disclosure can provide a convenient, digestible overview of tactical and/or strategic data in a single user interface.

Communication terminal, movement guidance system, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing computer program

Movement guidance information for performing traveling guidance for a vehicle is requested to a guidance information delivering server device based on an area update table and an area identification table for managing an update state of map information in a communication terminal, and traveling guidance for the vehicle is performed based on the movement guidance information delivered from the guidance information delivering server device in response to the request.

CENTER LINE GENERATION DEVICE, NETWORK DATA GENERATION SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

A centerline for generating network data of an indoor space can be generated while limiting the amount of calculation. Points where first straight lines and second straight lines constituting centerlines meet are created using re-entrant vertices (Step 1). The points created in Step 1 are connected by lines (Step 2). Connection lines corresponding to the longest sides are repeatedly deleted from closed polygons defined by the connection lines obtained in Step 2 until no closed polygons are left (Step 3). Each vertex of the connection lines obtained in Step 3 is connected to a farthest center point on the perimeter of the shape of the passage if there is such a farthest center point to which the vertex can be connected without touching the perimeter and without crossing other connection lines (Step 4).

An information processing apparatus 1 includes a message display module 142 which, when a predetermined event is predicted to occur at a set location of interest, displays a message indicating occurrence of the predetermined event and the time until the occurrence of the predetermined event. The location of interest may be set to a current position of the information processing apparatus 1. The information processing apparatus 1 may also include a map display module 141 that displays a map including the location of interest, wherein the message displaying module 142 displays the message in such a manner as to be superimposed on the map.

CENTER LINE SIMPLIFICATION DEVICE, NETWORK DATA GENERATION SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

Centerlines for generating network data of an indoor space can be simplified while the amount of calculation is limited. A centerline simplification unit 240 performs processing of deleting centerlines of passages that are movable regions in an indoor space and processing of correcting centerlines. A determination unit 242 determines whether or not the simplification has ended based on the number of centerlines or the number of vertices connecting the centerlines.

CONTROL MAP INFORMATION EVALUATION DEVICE, CONTROL MAP INFORMATION EVALUATION METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
