Nautical chart display device, nautical chart display method, and nautical chart display program

The purpose is to provide a nautical chart display device which enables a measurement of a distance on an electronic nautical chart, like a measuring method which is performed by using a divider. The nautical chart display device includes a display unit, an operation detector, a registration processing module, and a change processing module. The display unit has a screen and displays a nautical chart on the screen. The operation detector detects a touch operation to the screen. The registration processing module accepts two points of the touch operation on the screen, and registers a scale at which a distance between the touched points on the screen matches a distance setting on the nautical chart as an additional scale. The change processing module changes the scale of the nautical chart to the additional scale.

A guide display system includes: a user terminal; a checkpoint terminal; and a server, in which the server includes: a specifying unit that uses biometric information obtained from the checkpoint terminal to specify person identification information for identifying a user associated with the biometric information; an obtaining unit that obtains date and time information indicating a date and time when the user passed through a checkpoint; a selection unit that selects, based on the obtained date and time information, one or more destinations from destination information indicating a plurality of destinations that are registered in association with the specified person identification information and are the destinations of the user; and a display information generation unit that generates display information for displaying the guide display corresponding to the one or more selected destination on the user terminal.

Route setting device

A route setting device includes: a route candidate generation unit that generates multiple route candidates from a current position to a destination; an index calculation unit that calculates, for each of the multiple route candidates, a change index that indicates a probability that an automatic driving system performs a driving change request when a vehicle travels along each of the multiple route candidates by using the automatic driving system; a display unit that associates the multiple candidates with the change index calculated for each of the multiple route candidates, and display the multiple associated route candidates and the associated change index; an input unit that receives a selection among the multiple route candidates by an occupant of the vehicle; and a route setting unit that sets a route among the multiple route candidates based on the selection received by the input unit.

Systems and methods for presenting marine information are provided herein. A system includes an array of a plurality of sonar transducer elements associated with a watercraft and a display. The system causes presentation of a chart of a body of water, including a representation of the watercraft at a current location. The system also operates the array to cause transmission of sonar beams into the underwater environment and receives sonar return data from the array. The system further generates, based on the sonar return data, a two-dimensional live sonar image, determines a facing direction of the array, and causes presentation of the sonar image in the facing direction on the chart and relative to the representation of the watercraft. Accordingly, live sonar imagery is presented on the chart to visually provide a relationship between objects within the live sonar imagery and the real-world position of those objects.

FLOOD MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for a flood-recovery analysis tool. One method includes operations for accessing weather information for a geographical region divided into cells and for generating runoff data based on the weather information. The runoff data includes a predicted amount of free-running water on a surface of each cell of the region. Further, the method includes operations for generating a prediction of inflow and outflow of water between cells, and for calculating, for a plurality of sub-cells of each cell in the geographical region, a predicted water depth in each sub-cell based on the prediction of the inflow and outflow between cells and a hydraulic model. Additionally, the method includes operations for generating a flood inundation map showing the predicted water depth at each sub-cell in the geographical region, and for causing presentation of the flood inundation map in a user interface of a display device.

A method for providing information based on geographic parameters is disclosed. The method includes providing a map. A user-defined position on the map is received. Data of a first type, wherein the first type data relates to the user-defined position on the map, is provided.

Systems and methods for automated real-time and advisory routing within a fleet of geographically distributed drivers

Embodiments of systems and methods for automated real-time routing within a fleet of geographically distributed drivers are disclosed. Embodiments may operate to dispatch orders and determine routing in real-time in a geographic area through application of rule-based filtering of drivers and selective application of optimal or non-optimal routing solutions utilizing the real-time locations of drivers, real-time conditions within the geographic area and the locations for the set of orders being routed by the system.
