Large data transfer using visual codes with feedback confirmation
A method of confirming receipt, including iteratively capturing by a receiving device visual codes in a series of visual codes displayed on a sending device. A corresponding captured visual code being from a display block that resulted from a partition of an original data file into display blocks, and wherein each display block is converted to a corresponding string and header including an ordered identifying display block number and a total count of the display blocks. Each corresponding string is converted to a corresponding visual code. Each of the captured visual codes is converted into a corresponding string and a header is read for the corresponding string. Captured display blocks are determined. A confirmation message is generated including information indicating which display blocks have been received. The confirmation message is sent over a wireless communication link to the sending device to reduce the number of visual codes being displayed.

Securing communication between a wireless data communication accessory for a drug delivery device and an external device
A system comprising a wireless data communication accessory and a drug delivery device is disclosed, wherein the wireless data communication accessory is configured for data exchange with the drug delivery device and to secure data from the drug delivery device using cryptographic information assigned to the drug delivery device.
Validation of Authenticity of Association of a Physical Entity with a Non-Fungible Token and Creation of the Non-Fungible Token having a Verifiable Association with the Physical Entity
Techniques to validate authenticity of association of a physical entity with a non-fungible token and/or to create the non-fungible token having a verifiable association with the physical entity are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method which can be implemented on a system to verify that a given physical object associated a non-fungible token on a distributed ledger network is an authentic physical object. In one embodiment, the method includes retrieving authentication metadata for a security device generated from initiating authentication of the security device associated with the given physical object. It can be determined whether the authentication metadata for the security device includes an identifier of the non-fungible token.
CRYPTOGRAPHICALLY SECURE SCANNABLE CODE TO DETERMINE THE AUTHENTICITY OF PHYSICAL ITEMS
A system for determining authenticity of an item includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the processor cause the system to assign a unique identifier to an item, generate a digital signature of the unique identifier of the item using a private key of a producing organization, generate a scannable code based on the generated digital signature and/or a base 64 encoded form of the generated digital signature, and embed in the item the scannable code and the unique item identifier, a name of the producing organization, and/or a public key server URL.
System and methods for authenticating content
The invention relates generally to the field of content authentication, and more particularly, to a system and methods for verifying the authenticity of content output to a user. In certain preferred embodiments, the content is verified by identifying the source data of the content, distributing the content, and authenticating the distributed content. Where the content has not been changed, the system may authenticate the content using a cryptographic hash. When minor changes to the content are made, the system may use a perceptual hash to authenticate the content. Further, the system may utilize machine learning algorithms to identify patterns between the same content in, for example, multiple formats and sizes. Advantageously, the content that is uploaded to the system may be used to train machine-learning models that the system may use to authenticate content that has been converted but unmanipulated.
COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING GENERATION PROGRAM, GENERATION METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium stores a generation program for causing a computer to execute processing including: acquiring a converted character string from a character string to be processed in predetermined processing that includes hashing the character string to be processed; generating a figure that corresponds to the character string to be processed by representing an order of characters and a value of a character in the converted character string as an angle and a size in polar coordinates; and outputting the figure.
Lip language recognition method and mobile terminal using sound and silent modes
A lip language recognition method, applied to a mobile terminal having a sound mode and a silent mode, includes: training a deep neural network in the sound mode; collecting a user's lip images in the silent mode; and identifying content corresponding to the user's lip images with the deep neural network trained in the sound mode. The method further includes: switching from the sound mode to the silent mode when a privacy need of the user arises.
INTEGRATING AND DETECTING VISUAL DATA SECURITY TOKEN IN DISPLAYED DATA VIA GRAPHICS PROCESSING CIRCUITRY USING A FRAME BUFFER
An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium that include establishing a video connection between the apparatus and a first device, in response to establishing the video connection, transmitting a token to a second device equipped with a display, the token being displayed on the display of the second device, receiving visual data comprising the token displayed on the display of the second device, the visual data being generated by the first device, that includes a camera, capturing the token displayed on the display of the second device, accessing a frame buffer of a graphics processing unit (GPU), analyzing, in the frame buffer of the GPU, a frame representing a section of the visual data to detect the token, and in response to the token being detected in the visual data, generating an authentication to authenticate the video connection between the apparatus and the first device.
PAPERLESS TICKET MANAGEMENT SERVICE
When an electronic ticket is purchased, the ticket is maintained electronically (paperless format) on a consumer-operated device via a ticket wallet application (app). Wallet app obtains ticket details via a scan of an image of the ticket captured from a display of a ticket vendor terminal. Only the wallet app maintains ticket details of the ticket; however, a ticket service cooperates with the wallet app to validate the ticket, to track redemption of the ticket, to authorize printing of the ticket, and to manage the ticket with other tickets of a consumer associated with consumer-operated device.
