SAMPLER FOR A SCENTED WAXY CANDLE AND PROCESS

A sampler is presented for a sample of a scented, waxy candle material. The scented, waxy material is melted and may be diluted with compatible additives and/or liquid (organic oil or hydrocarbon), before being layered to a face of a bottom layer. A top layer (3) is applied directly over the sample and can be adhered to the bottom layer to form a seal. In another embodiment a peripheral seal, is formed between the top and the bottom layers. The seal is separable by a user pulling on a tab a portion of the top layer to expose the face of the sample to the atmosphere allowing the volatile molecules present in the candle to be released. With a repositionable glue as a seal, the top layer can be replaced to prevent further release of volatile molecules. A method is also shown for making the sample.

Modular display system

A first tread pattern display system for new tread patterns includes a first upper sidewall part, a second upper sidewall part, a first tread shoulder part, a second tread shoulder part, and a middle tread part. The first upper sidewall part removably attaches to the first tread shoulder part by a plurality of projections extending from the first upper sidewall part to corresponding recesses in the first tread shoulder part.

Identifying object of user focus with eye tracking and visually evoked potentials

A brain computer interface system includes a wearable interface, an eye tracking device, and a client device for determining what object a user is looking at on an electronic display. The client device determines a region on the electronic display based on an estimated user gaze direction received from the eye tracking device. For each virtual object in the gaze region, the client device displays a visual stimulus with a unique frequency. The client device receives from the wearable interface an electrical potential signal measured at the user's brain and evoked by a visual stimulus on the electronic display. The client device identifies the object in the gaze region with a stimulus frequency matching a frequency derived from the potential signal, and executes instructions relating to the object.

DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

A display assembly includes (a) a display stand having a base securable to a secure support surface and a platform detachably mounted to the base; (b) at least one display container supported atop and securely fastened to the platform, at least a portion of the container being generally transparent for viewing one or more articles containable therein for display; and (c) a locking mechanism mounted to the display stand. The locking mechanism is moveable between a locked position in which the platform is securely locked to the base to prevent detachment of the platform from the base, and an unlocked position in which the platform is unlocked from the base to permit detachment of the platform from the base for transporting the display container away from the base.

An assembly for displaying a surfacing material can comprise a surfacing material sample defining a first pattern and a printed display having an illustration of the surfacing material. The printed display can define a second pattern. The illustration of the surfacing material can define at least a portion of the second pattern. The surfacing material sample can cover and couple to a portion of the printed display. A scale between the second pattern and the first pattern can be 1:1 so that the first pattern of the surfacing material sample cooperates with the second pattern of the printed display to provide a coordinated visualization of an installation of the surfacing material.
