A content reproduction system for reproducing content on a display device installed at a predetermined location in accordance with a predetermined reproduction schedule includes a user information acquiring circuit that acquires user information from a user terminal, a content acquiring circuit that acquires first content corresponding to the user information acquired by the user information acquiring circuit and a first reproduction schedule for reproducing the first content, and a display circuit that causes the user terminal to display the first content acquired by the content acquiring circuit, in accordance with the first reproduction schedule.
Active display with reduced screen-door effect
An active display can be used in a theatre with reduced screen-door effect. For example, the active display can have a structure, such as a diffuser structure, or a diffuser and mask structure, that can have, or appear to have, transmissive areas and opaque areas to reduce the audience from detecting gaps or other non-light sources in the active display. The active display may additionally or alternatively have audio ports to allow sound to pass through the active display and appear to the audience as if the sound is coming from the active display.
Robot
A robot includes a main body provided with a driving wheel, a neck body extending upward from a front portion of the main body, a head including a display body in which a display is provided, and a protrusion protruding from the display body and inserted into the neck body, a tilting mechanism for tilting the head, and a support frame disposed inside the neck body and supporting the tilting mechanism. The tilting mechanism includes a coupling body coupled to the protrusion, a supporter for supporting the coupling body and coupled to the support frame, and a motor for rotating the coupling body.
INTERACTIVE KIOSK WITH EMERGENCY CALL MODULE
Provided are a publicly-accessible kiosk and method for requesting emergency assistance by a responder. The kiosk includes a base constructed for installation in a public setting, and an interface that is supportable by the base to receive user input corresponding to content requested to be presented by the kiosk. A control system, as a result of executing computer-accessible instructions, accesses tion stored by a non-transitory computer memory and generates an output based on the user input received. A display device operatively connected to the control system to graphically display the content requested at the public setting based on the output of the control system. An emergency call module of the kiosk is activated in response to selection of an emergency activator to communicate with a remote terminal over a communication network and request assistance from a responder at the public setting.
