Acoustic camera based audio visual scene analysis
Techniques are disclosed for scene analysis including the use of acoustic imaging and computer audio vision processes for monitoring applications. In some embodiments, an acoustic image device is utilized with a microphone array, image sensor, acoustic image controller, and a controller. In some cases, the controller analyzes at least a portion of the spatial spectrum within the acoustic image data to detect sound variations by identifying regions of pixels having intensities exceeding a particular threshold. In addition, the controller can detect two or more co-occurring sound events based on the relative distance between pixels with intensities exceeding the threshold. The resulting data fusion of image pixel data, audio sample data, and acoustic image data can be analyzed using computer audio vision, sound/voice recognition, and acoustic signature techniques to recognize/identify audio and visual features associated with the event and to empirically or theoretically determine one or more conditions causing each event.
Electronic Signage Assembly
An electronic signage assembly for creating and wirelessly posting messages to a display unit includes a display unit comprising a display transceiver and a control unit comprising a remote transceiver, so that the control unit is positioned for wireless communication with the display unit. The display unit also comprises a display screen. The control unit comprises an entry module, which allows for entry of a message. The remote transceiver is positioned to communicate the message, via the display transceiver, to the display screen for display of the message to persons proximate to the display unit.
Portable Real Estate Reservation
A system and method are disclosed permitting the reservation of a publically accessible stationary location, such as a parking spot along a public highway, a parking lot, or a parking ramp. In some aspects, selection of mobile unit types, media messages to be presented, and/or the times that the stationary location is to be occupied by a reserving mobile unit is permitted. The system may also determine a value assigned to the locations or other of the above-mentioned characteristics. The mobile unit makes a determination of its geographic location and transmits the geographic location, and also sends an acknowledgement that the mobile unit occupies the selected location. The mobile unit may be a self-powered vehicle, towable vehicle, portable station, ground vehicle, nautical vehicle, and airborne vehicle.
Apparatus and method for replacing and outputting advertisement
An electronic device and method for replacing and outputting an advertisement are provided. The electronic device includes: a memory storing at least one program; a communication unit configured to receive context data to be used to determine a state of a user, from at least one external device; and a processor configured to replace and output an advertisement by executing the at least one program, wherein the at least one program includes instructions to: acquire user state information indicating the state of the user from the received context data, based on a learning model using one or more neural networks; and perform control to replace a previously determined first advertisement with a second advertisement determined based on the user state information and to output the second advertisement.
Controlled shear point wiring adapter
A wiring adapter is provided which controls the shear point for a wiring system in a traffic control box and other electrical panels. The wiring adapter includes a bottom segment which is securely mounted in the control box. Incoming wires to the control box are connected to the bottom segment. The top segment of the wiring adapter includes connections for wires running from the wiring adapter to the power or control elements in the control box. The wiring adapter uses a quick release retention mechanism to secure the top segment to the bottom segment. When a triggering event occurs, the quick release mechanism separates the top segment from the bottom segment to ensure that the shear point for the wiring system occurs at the wiring adapter.
Signaling device and system for increasing visibility of a mobile robot
A signaling device for increasing visibility of a mobile robot. The signaling device comprises a signaling section, a body section, and a base section. The invention also discloses a system for increasing visibility of a mobile robot. The system comprises a mobile robot, a signaling device attached to the mobile robot and a remote terminal configured to at least one of monitoring and controlling at least one of the mobile robot and the signaling device.
Interactive Mirror
The present invention relates to an interactive mirror (1) and to a method for displaying information on an interactive mirror (1).
ILLUMINATED SIGN FOR AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING AND COMMUNICATION DEVICES
An illuminated sign for providing a warning that an area adjacent the illuminated sign is within a field of view of an audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device. The illuminated sign may include a front panel having translucent portions and opaque portions, and an illumination source located behind the front panel. The illumination source illuminates the front panel such that the opaque portions block transmission through the front panel of at least a portion of the light from the illumination source to provide the warning that the area adjacent the illuminated sign is within the field of view of the A/V recording and communication device.
DISPLAYING MESSAGES USING BODY-WORN ELECTRONIC DISPLAY DEVICES
Methods and systems for displaying messages using body-worn electronic display devices. One method includes receiving proximity data indicating a distance between a first electronic display device and a second electronic display device. The method also includes receiving first orientation data indicating an orientation of the first electronic display device and receiving second orientation data indicating an orientation of the second electronic display device. The method also includes determining a distributed message for display based on the proximity data, the first orientation data, and the second orientation data. The distributed message includes a first message for display on the first electronic display device and a second message for display on the second electronic display device. The method also includes displaying, by a controller, the first message on the first electronic display device and the second message on the second electronic display device.
CASCADING SURPRISE DOORWAY DISPLAY ARTICLE WITH SOUND PLAYBACK
The present invention relates generally to a mounted display article, and more particularly to a multi-panel bulletin display mounted above a door frame that vertically unfolds or cascades in response to a trigger mechanism, the multi-panel bulletin display having cuts for receiving a removable greeting insert that has printed matter as well as a sound playback device that plays in response to the trigger mechanism.
