Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface in a dual screen device. More particularly, the method includes providing a gallery for the dual screen device. The gallery can present one or more images in a user interface. The gallery user interface can adapt to changes in the device configuration. Further, the gallery can display images or videos in the various configurations.

An input device includes a touch sensor, a pressure detection unit configured to detect pressure on the touch sensor, and a control unit that performs control to execute predetermined processing when, in a state such that the touch sensor detects contact inside a predetermined region, data based on pressure detected by the pressure detection unit satisfies a predetermined standard, and performs control not to execute the predetermined processing when, in a state such that the data based on pressure detected by the pressure detection unit satisfies a predetermined standard, the touch sensor detects contact that transitions from outside the predetermined region to inside the predetermined region.

A controlling method of a computer screen includes the following steps. Firstly, in a step (a), an image is captured. Then, a step (b) detects whether the image has a skin color distribution region. If an accumulative time length that no skin color distribution region is contained in the image is longer than a predetermined time length, a hibernation mode of the computer screen is enabled.

Touch location determination approaches involving a plurality of touch location techniques are described. Each touch location technique is capable of independently determining a location of a touch within a touch area of the touch sensitive device. The touch location determination made by at least one touch location technique is enhanced using touch location information associated with the touch acquired from one or more other touch location techniques. One touch location technique may use a different type of sensor, signal, and/or algorithm from the one or more other touch location techniques.

A vibration control device used for an electronic apparatus which includes a touch panel that vibrates in synchronization with a touch operation and a vibrating source that is different from the touch panel, includes a predominant frequency acquirer that acquires a main component of a vibrational frequency of the vibrating source as a predominant frequency of vibrations of the vibrating source; a consonant sound determiner that determines a consonant sound frequency based on the acquired predominant frequency, the consonant sound frequency being a frequency of a sound which is in consonant with a sound having the acquired predominant frequency; and a vibrational frequency setter that sets a vibrational frequency of the touch panel to the determined consonant sound frequency.

An information processing apparatus including a display; a touch panel stacked on or integrally formed with the display; and a controller that receives an output from the touch panel indicating that first gesture input is detected that substantially encloses a region of the display, and controls the display to expand an image displayed by the display based on a size of the region.

According to an aspect, a device includes: a communication unit, a touch screen display, and a controller. The communication unit acquires information through communication service. The touch screen display displays a screen for setting an image in individual information registered in address book data. When a predetermined gesture is detected during display of the screen, the controller acquires an image to be associated with the individual information through communication service registered in the individual information.

An organic light emitting diode display pixel, a display panel and a display device are provided. The organic light emitting diode display pixel comprises a red light emitting device, a green light emitting device and a blue light emitting device arranged side by side and disposed oblique with respect to a border of the pixel. The red light emitting device and the green light emitting device are located on both sides of the blue light emitting device, which has a length larger than those of the red one and the green one. An operating system for a motor vehicle includes: a display device for displaying an operating area, and an operating unit which has a sensor device for detecting the approach and the position of at least one finger of a user to the operating unit. In this case, if the sensor device detects that two or more fingers are undershooting a specifiable minimum distance from the operating unit and are carrying out a first specifiable motion, an additional operating area is displayed in addition or alternatively to the operating area.
