Vehicle display device and method of driving the same
A vehicle display device includes a first display unit disposed in a first portion of a vehicle and including a first display panel to display a first image and a first power supply to supply a first power supply voltage to the first display panel, the first power supply configured to detect an abnormality of a signal output to the first display panel to generate a first shut-down control signal; a second display unit disposed in a second portion of the vehicle and including a second display panel to display a second image and a second power supply to supply a second power supply voltage to the second display panel, the second power supply configured to detect an abnormality of a signal output to the second display panel to generate a second shut-down control signal; a third display unit disposed in a third portion of the vehicle and configured to display a third image or at least one of the first and second images; and a controller to receive first image data corresponding to the first image, second image data corresponding to the second image, and third image data corresponding to the third image to provide the received first image data, the received second image data, and the received third image data to the first display unit, the second display unit, and the third display unit, respectively. The controller is configured to supply the first image data to the third display unit in response to the first shut-down control signal, and to supply the second image data to the third display unit in response to the second shut-down control signal.
Desktop application manager: card dragging of dual screen cards
Methods and devices for selecting a card from an application stack, wherein the card represents a corresponding application that a user would like to make active or bring focus to. The selecting includes one or more of a dragging and a tapping action, with these actions being triggers for transitioning the device to an optional drag state or tapped state, respectively. Transitioning through this state executes the activating of a corresponding application or other action on the device to facilitate window/application/desktop management. The selecting further allows a user to specify which a touch screen (or portion hereof) on which a particular application should be launched.

Power module
A power module includes a circuit board and a load group. The load group is installed on the circuit board. The load group includes a first-stage power conversion circuit, a second-stage power conversion circuit and plural loads. The first-stage power conversion circuit converts an input voltage into a transition voltage. The second-stage power conversion circuit converts the transition voltage into a driving voltage. A rated value of the first input voltage is higher than twice a rated value of the transition voltage. A rated value of the driving voltage is lower than a half of the rated value of the transition voltage. The distance between the input terminal of the second-stage power conversion circuit and the output terminal of the first-stage power conversion circuit is smaller than the distance between the input terminal of the first-stage power conversion circuit and each edge of the circuit board.
Point of use interaction playback device employing energy harvesting from ambient radio frequency communications
Devices, systems and methods are provided for playing back video or other dynamic content at a point of interaction with one or more users via a device that is configured on a sticker, label, card or other substrate. The device is self-powered and employs ambient radio frequency energy harvesting to charge a renewable, rechargeable energy storage element. The device has a display for displaying static content until dynamic content such as the video content is output in response to a user input. The display on the device can be used for outputting the video content, or the device can transmit the video content to an NFC-enabled smart phone for display without the smart phone having to download the video content from the internet.
Secondary single screen mode activation through user interface toggle
Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface on a second screen. More particularly, the method includes a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device from a first screen to a second screen while the device is closed. The change in the display mode may be made in response to a request from an application. The application may be executed and have the user interface window associated with the application moved to a second screen. The change to the second screen can be requested based on input into the application or automatically generated based on the type of application. In response to the request from the application, the device can render the user interface in the second screen.

Image capture modes for dual screen mode
Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface during an image capture. More particularly, the method includes a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device for a first screen and a second screen when capturing the image. The change in the display mode may be made in response to one or more actions conducted by a user. The image capture function includes different modes that display different information on the first and/or second screens.

Smartpad window management
A multi-display device is adapted to be dockable or otherwise associatable with an additional device. In accordance with one exemplary embodiment, the multi-display device is dockable with a smartpad. The exemplary smartpad can include a screen, a touch sensitive display, a configurable area, a gesture capture region(s) and a camera. The smartpad can also include a port adapted to receive the device. The exemplary smartpad is able to cooperate with the device such that information displayable on the device is also displayable on the smartpad. Furthermore, any one or more of the functions on the device are extendable to the smartpad, with the smartpad capable of acting as an input/output interface or extension of the smartpad. Therefore, for example, information from one or more of the displays on the multi-screen device is displayable on the smartpad.
