According to an aspect, a display apparatus includes: a display device that displays an image; and a drive circuit that drives the display device. The display device includes a regulator that supplies power based on a predetermined set voltage, a plurality of functional blocks that are operated by the supply of the power from the regulator and are related to operation of the display device, a voltage monitoring circuit that determines whether a level of a power supply voltage of at least one of the functional blocks is high or low based on a predetermined threshold voltage, and a voltage controller that increases the set voltage when the voltage monitoring circuit determines that the power supply voltage of the functional block is lower than the threshold voltage.

DISPLAY DEVICE

A display device includes pixels electrically connected to first scan lines, second scan lines, and emission lines, a first scan driver that applies first scan signals to the first scan lines, a second scan driver that applies second scan signals to the second scan lines, an emission control driver that applies emission signals to the emission lines, and a power supply that generates and outputs a first high voltage and a second high voltage. The second scan driver receives the first high voltage. The first scan driver and the emission control driver share the second high voltage.

The display also includes an auxiliary common electrode formed in a lattice pattern between at least two of the pixels and electrically connected to the common electrode, wherein the auxiliary common electrode includes two opposing sides. The display further includes a power supply electrically connected to a non-display area of the substrate. The display also includes a pair of first power supply wires formed in the non-display area and configured to electrically connect the power supply to a center portion of the two sides of the auxiliary common electrode.

The current measuring units are configured to respectively generate a plurality of measured current values by respectively measuring a plurality of currents respectively supplied to the pixel blocks through the power supply lines. The control unit is configured to respectively generate a plurality of block data for the pixel blocks based on pixel data for the pixels of corresponding ones of the pixel blocks, and determine whether an overcurrent occurs based on a plurality of ratios of the measured current values to corresponding ones of the block data.

Display device having at least two emission enable periods per image frame and method of driving the same

In a display device including pixels, each of the pixels may include: a first transistor coupled to a first node, a first power supply voltage line, and a second node; and a light-emitting diode coupled to the second node and a second power supply voltage line. Each image frame may include at least two emission enable periods for the light-emitting diode, and at least one emission inhibit period between the at least two emission enable periods.
