A display screen (10) includes: a display panel (11), a compensation line assembly (12), a signal source circuit (13) and a compensation circuit (14). The display panel (11) includes a display area (111) and a non-display area (112). The compensation line assembly (12) is separately connected to each pixel unit. The signal source circuit (13) is configured to provide a preset driving voltage for each pixel unit. The compensation circuit (14) is configured to detect a real-time driving voltage of each pixel unit, determine a to-be-compensated pixel unit based on the preset driving voltage and the real-time driving voltage, and provide a compensation voltage for the to-be-compensated pixel unit. Therefore, brightness of the different display areas can be uniform, and brightness consistency of the display areas can be further improved.

The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a controller and a display panel displaying an image. The controller includes a detector, a compensator, and a converter. The detector separates image data into first image data corresponding to a first image recognized as a non-afterimage component and second image data corresponding to a second image recognized as an afterimage component using a pre-trained deep neural network. The compensator outputs a compensation signal to control a luminance value of the second image data. The converter converts the first image data to first converted image data and converting the second image data to second converted image data based on the compensation signal.

A compensation method of a display device includes: sensing a first luminance of the display device when a first pattern is displayed on the display device; calculating a luminance prediction value corresponding to a second pattern to be displayed on the display device based on the first luminance, where the second pattern is different from the first pattern; sensing a second luminance of the display device when the second pattern is displayed on the display device; adjusting a current flowing in a first power line of the display device until the second luminance reaches the luminance prediction value; and storing compensation data corresponding to an adjusted current in a lookup table when the second luminance reaches the luminance prediction value.

The present disclosure provides a display device and a driving method thereof, which relate to a field of display technology. According to the present disclosure, first image data and second image data are merged by using a graphics processor. The merged image data may be transmitted to a control chip through only one interface.
