User interface for a computing device
There is disclosed a smartphone, tablet or other computing device comprising: (a) a touch sensitive display; (b) one or more processors; (c) computer memory; (d) an operating system computer program stored in the computer memory and configured to be executed by the one or more processors and including instructions for detecting a swipe gesture, and, in response to the detected swipe gesture, displaying a search bar.
Operating unit for a ventilator with a gas dispensing device for ventilation gases
An operating unit (2) sets ventilation parameters of a control unit (11) of a ventilator (1) that includes a gas dispensing device (10) for ventilation gases. The operating unit includes a display unit and an ventilation parameters input element (23, 24). Two or more of the parameters are linked via a relation condition stored in a relation storage module (40). A relation monitor (3) includes a deviation detector (31) detecting a transgression of the relation condition during parameter setting, and outputs warning information via a warning unit (32). This avoids a need for an operator to note the sometimes complicated connections and dependencies expressed in the relations during the parameter setting. The warning may be sent before the new setting value is sent from the operating unit to the control unit. Operating safety is increased and a risk of setting errors is minimized.
Automated adjustment of head up display image in a vehicle
Devices, methods and computer program products that facilitate automated adjustment of size or configuration of head up display image in a vehicle. A device can include a memory and a processor that executes computer executable modules. The computer executable modules can include: a head up display that generates an image visible to a driver of a vehicle within an eye box, a detection module that determines position of the driver's eyes or head relative to position of the eye box, and an adjustment module that adjusts size or configuration of the image within the eye box in response to the determined driver's eye or head position.
Temporal supersampling for foveated rendering systems
Methods and systems are provided for using temporal supersampling to increase a displayed resolution associated with peripheral region of a foveated rendering view. A method for enabling reconstitution of higher resolution pixels from a low resolution sampling region for fragment data is provided. The method includes an operation for receiving a fragment from a rasterizer of a GPU and for applying temporal supersampling to the fragment with the low resolution sampling region over a plurality of prior frames to obtain a plurality of color values. The method further includes an operation for reconstituting a plurality of high resolution pixels in a buffer that is based on the plurality of color values obtained via the temporal supersampling. Moreover, the method includes an operation for sending the plurality of high resolution pixels for display.
Remote generation of augmented reality overlays
An augmented reality device sends data representative of a field of view to a remote system. The field of view is comprises two portions, a first portion displayed to a user of the augmented reality device, and a second portion encompassing an area outside of the first portion. The remote system generates an element of an augmented reality display based on the second portion, and sends the element to the augmented reality device. When movement of the device causes the field of view to shift, the device includes the generated element in the augmented reality display.
Hands-free augmented reality system for picking and/or sorting assets
A system is provided for hands-free handling of at least one asset by a user. The system includes a user device configured to be worn by a user and a control system remotely located relative to the user device and configured to exchange asset-related data with the user device, the asset-related data including at least one or more notifications related to the handling of the at least one asset by the user at the asset location. The user device contains a processor configured to determine location data associated with the at least one asset and including a location for the at least one asset, the determination being based, in part, upon the obtained asset identifier data; dynamically generate and display, at the user device, one or more navigational projections configured to guide the user to the asset location; and detect handling of the at least one asset by the user.
REAL TIME COLLABORATION OVER MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
A first or second computer viewing a virtual canvas may be a host computer for a live source object requiring authorization between a host and a non-host computer by creating a live source window for the live source object requiring authorization (ARLSW) within the virtual canvas on the host computer, sending metadata information for the ARLSW to the non-host computer so that the ARLSW is at the same location on the virtual canvas for the first and second computers, and streaming the live source object requiring authorization to the ARLSW from the host computer to the non-host computer. When the host computer for the ARLSW leaves the virtual canvas and no other non-host computer for ARLSW in the canvas is known to have authorization to view the ARLSW, a placeholder screen is displayed in the ARLSW on the virtual canvas.
Optical-type fingerprint recognition display and operation method thereof
The present disclosure related to an optical fingerprint identification display and a driving method thereof. In the optical fingerprint identification display and the driving method thereof, the fingerprint identification display includes: a display panel and a processor. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a two-dimensional matrix. The pixel includes: at least one subpixel which emits light on the basis of a first signal received from the processor; and an optical sensor which receives the light emitted from the subpixel and is reflected from a fingerprint and generates a second signal. The processor determines a touch region on the display panel, and transmits the first signal to one or more pixels included in the touch region, and identifies the fingerprint of the user on the basis of the second signal received from the pixel.
Control method and control device
A control method is provided for suppressing a flicker phenomenon even if frame periods vary in length. The control method controls an emission period and an extinction period of a frame period, which is a period in which one image continues to be displayed. When a signal indicating start of a frame period is detected, as the frame period, n subframe periods that configure the frame period, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 2, are sequentially started from the first subframe period, after a predetermined period of time has elapsed since the detection of the signal. All of the n subframe periods are controlled to have a substantially same length determined in advance and to have a substantially same ratio between the emission period and the extinction period, determined in advance, the ratio being referred to as a duty ratio.
DELAYED OPENING PORT ASSEMBLY
A port assembly for controlling fluid flow through a flow port of a port sub. The port assembly comprises a dissolvable barrier, a burst disk for protecting the dissolvable barrier from fluids inside the port sub, and optionally a protective layer for protecting the dissolvable barrier from external fluids. When the burst disk is ruptured by increased fluid pressure inside the port sub, the dissolvable barrier starts disintegrating from exposure to the fluid. When the dissolvable barrier and protective layer are broken through, a flow passage is opened in the port assembly to permit fluid flow therethrough. The flow passage may be positioned tangentially in the port sub. The breakthrough time of the dissolvable barrier may be preconfigured by providing one or more thinner areas therein and/or placing a corrosive material in the port assembly.
