Apparatus, systems, and methods for providing a rearward view of an aircraft. The system, apparatus, and methods include one or more cameras disposed on an aft portion of a fuselage of the aircraft, a heads-up display is within a cockpit of the aircraft, and a heads-up control. The heads-up control receives image data from the one or more cameras and generates an image on the heads-up display based on the image data from the one or more cameras to provide a rearward view of an area behind the aircraft. The heads-up control may be configured to determine when an aerial object is within a predetermined range behind the aircraft and responsively generate the image on the heads-up display based on the image data from the one or more cameras to provide a rearward view of an area behind the aircraft in which the aerial object is located.

A method for applying adapted colour rendering in relation to intensity of light of wavelengths relevant to the circadian rhythm of a user, a computer program, a carrier, a system and a head-mounted device is disclosed. The method comprises receiving gaze tracking information identifying a gaze vector of the user of the system, and determining a respective location of a first area of the display and a second areas of the display based on the identified gaze vector. A first colour rendering mode is applied in the first area of the display, and a second colour rendering mode is applied in the second area of the display. The first colour rendering mode and the second colour rendering mode differ in relation to a degree of selective adaptation of intensity of light of wavelengths relevant to the circadian rhythm of the user.

Systems and method herein describe an electronic display apparatus that is amendable to display different types of visualizations. In an embodiment, the electronic display apparatus has a circular display unit. The electronic display apparatus may display content but with some of the portions cut off from visibility to a user. The electronic display apparatus may include motion sensor units and data obtained from these motion sensor units may be used to cause a video controller to send a portion of the content from a frame buffer to the display device to enable the display of different areas of content. The content displayed to the user may change in accordance with movement initiated by the user.
