Multi-view network bridge device

A multi-view (MV) network bridge device includes an upstream interface, multiple downstream interfaces, and a controller. The controller receives, from the upstream interface, a specification of one or more viewing zones and a specification of one or more content streams. Also, the controller sends, on at least one of the downstream interfaces, at least a subset of each of the specifications received from the upstream interface. The upstream interface may be coupled to a computer that provides the specifications. Each of the downstream interfaces may be coupled to a different MV display panel. One of the downstream interfaces may be coupled to an MV display panel that is coupled to another MV display panel. One of the downstream interfaces may be coupled to an upstream interface of another MV network bridge device having a downstream interface coupled to an MV display panel.

Systems with overlapped displays

A system may include electronic devices that communicate wirelessly. When positioned so that a pair of devices overlap or are near to one another, the devices may operate in a linked mode. During linked operations, devices may communicate wirelessly while input gathering and content displaying operations are shared among the devices. One or both of a pair of devices may have sensors. An orientation sensor, motion sensor, optical sensor, and/or other sensors may be used in identifying conditions in which to enter the linked mode and to identify a region where displays in the pair of devices overlap.

According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises: a communication module; a display; and a processor operatively connected to the communication module and the display, wherein the processor is configured to: detect at least one external electronic device in proximity to the electronic device through the communication module, identify a location relationship with the at least one external electronic device, when detecting the at least one electronic device in proximity to the electronic device, share operation information and/or status information with the at least one external electronic device, and provide an interface for the electronic device and each of the at least one external electronic device, based on at least one of the location relationship, the operation information, the status information, and a number of the at least one external electronic device.

INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM REMOTE ACCESS TO DISPLAY FUNCTIONALITY OF DAISY CHAINED DISPLAYS

Daisy chained displays that present information from an information handling system as visual images has remote support of display settings provided through an address assignment scheme to communicate display settings to specific displays of the daisy chain and allows each display to determine a numerical index of the display for presentation at the display. A remote control session for display settings accepts inputs based upon the numerical index presented at each display and sends the display setting inputs through the daisy chain to the address associated with the numerical index for application at the display.

Method for image processing of image data for a two-dimensional display wall with three-dimensional objects

A captured scene captured of a live action scene while a display wall is positioned to be part of the live action scene may be processed. To perform the processing, stereoscopic image data of the live action scene is received, and display wall metadata of the precursor image is determined. Further, a first portion of the stereoscopic image data comprising the stage element in the live action scene is determined based on the stereoscopic image data and the display wall metadata. A second portion of the stereoscopic image data comprising the display wall in the live action scene with the display wall displaying the precursor image is also determined. Thereafter, an image matte for the stereoscopic image data is generated based on the first portion and the second portion.
