A method for execution by a point of sale device includes receiving a redemption request from a user computing device, the redemption request including a signature generated utilizing a private key of a public/private key pair associated with the user computing device. The method further includes sending use information regarding the redemption request to a marketplace server. The method further includes receiving authorization information from the marketplace server, the authorization information including a portion of a blockchain associated with the exchange item, the portion including the public key of the public/private key pair. The method further includes extracting the public key from the received portion of the blockchain associated with the exchange item. The method further includes verifying the signature utilizing the extracted public key and when the signature is verified, authorizing the redemption request.
Displaying sensitive content based on whether others are around user
A sensitive content display control system determines whether to display sensitive content on a computing device display, such as on a lock screen. The system attempts to authenticate a user of the computing device, and does not display the sensitive content if the user is not authenticated. If the user is authenticated, then the system determines whether anyone in addition to the user is looking at the computing device display. If the user is authenticated and no one else is looking at the computing device display, then the sensitive content is displayed. However, if the user is authenticated and at least one additional person is looking at the computing device display, then the sensitive content is not displayed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING LOCK-SCREEN
A method and an apparatus for providing a lock-screen are provided. The method includes turning off a display unit, configuring content for the lock-screen in response to the turning off of the display unit, receiving a user interaction, based on at least one button, turning on the display unit in response to the user interaction, and displaying the lock-screen that is changed based on the content configured to correspond to the user interaction when the display unit is turned on.
Display device
A display device includes a display panel, a display panel driving circuit, and a power management integrated circuit that generates driving voltages, receives driving set data from a timing controller, stores driving hex values corresponding to the driving set data in first internal registers, and determines voltage levels of the driving voltages based on the driving hex values. The power management integrated circuit divides the driving hex values into upper and lower decimal values, derives a result decimal value by applying the upper and lower decimal values to a first authentication-formula, generates a result hex value based on the result decimal value, compares an authentication hex value corresponding to authentication data received from the timing controller with the result hex value, and selectively operates in a normal mode or in a protection mode based on a comparison result between the authentication hex value and the result hex value.

When rendering a frame, e.g. that is to be used for rendering subsequent frames to be rendered, two versions of the frame are rendered, wherein the first version of the frame is rendered in its entirety but only a portion of the second version of the frame is rendered. The rendered portion of the second version of the frame is compared to a corresponding rendered portion of the first version of the frame. When the comparison determines that the two portions of the two versions match, the frame is, e.g. used for rendering subsequent frames, but when the comparison determines the two portions of the two versions do not match, an error operation is performed.
Display device and method of driving the same
A display device includes a display panel including a gate line, a data line, and a pixel electrically connected to the gate line and the data line and that displays an image based on input image data, a gate driver which outputs a gate signal to the gate line, a data driver which outputs a data voltage to the data line, and a driving controller which controls the gate driver and the data driver. The pixel includes a first pixel that emits light in a first mode and does not emit light in a second mode and a second pixel that emits light in both the first mode and the second mode, where the second pixel has a narrower viewing angle than the first pixel. The gate line includes a first gate line connected only to the first pixel and a second gate line connected only to the second pixel.

Various embodiments of the present application set forth a computer-implemented method that includes detecting a tag that is associated with a real-world object, determining an object identifier (ID) associated with the tag, transmitting a request for data associated with the real-world object, wherein the request includes the object ID, receiving a set of values associated with the object ID from a data source, where the set of values is provided by the data source based on the object ID and on a query executed on raw machine data associated with the real-world object, and displaying, by a client device within the XR environment, a visualization associated with the set of values.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR PRESENTING PUBLIC AND PRIVATE IMAGES
Technologies for displaying public and private images includes a display device and one or more user viewing devices. The display device is configured to display or generate a personalized image or video that is viewable by an authorized user viewing device and not viewable by unauthorized viewing devices. To facilitate the display of the personalized images, the display device and the user viewing device(s) may negotiate a display protocol to be used by the display device to display the personalized image in a private manner. In some embodiment, the display device may also display a public image or video that is viewable by unauthorized viewing devices and/or individuals without viewing devices.
