Reducing inadvertent data loss in email

A method, mobile device and system are provided for managing and displaying email messages on a device having security classification metadata. The security classification metadata is extracted on the mobile device from the email messages. A presentation characteristic for the email message is determined based on a comparison of the extracted security classification metadata of the email message to a security classification policy. The email messages on the device can then be presented in accordance with the determined presentation characteristic of each respective email associated with the security classification metadata. In addition, in replying to an email in one or more subsets of recipients of the email message can be determined where each of the recipients of a respective subset having at least one security classification in common. A visual indication of at least one of the determined one or more subsets of recipients can be presented wherein the user can select the reply group to ensure that only the appropriate recipients receive the email message.

The circuit device includes: an interface unit that receives image data; and an error detection unit that performs error detection. The interface unit receives the image data including display image data and error detection data that includes at least position information regarding an error detection region, and the error detection unit performs the error detection on the display image data based on the display image data of the error detection region that is specified by the position information.

METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR ACCESS CONTROL FOR WIRELESS STREAMING OF AUDIO-VISUAL DATA
20190014375 · 2019-01-10 ·

Method, device and system for access control for wireless streaming of audio-visual data to a receiver device, it comprising the steps of: wirelessly connecting the receiver device to a plurality of sender devices positioned in an area, transmitting, by the receiver device, a privilege signal pertaining to a sender device to obtain a privileged status, the privilege signal having spatial coverage within the area, extracting, by at least one of sender devices, privilege credentials from the privilege signal, and transmitting the privilege credentials from the at least one sender device to the receiver device to acquire privileged status, controlling, by a sender device having a privilege status, access of wireless data streaming from any other sender devices to the receiver device. The method, device and system can be advantageous as it differentiates users and permits privileged sender device to control wireless streaming of audio-visual data from other sender devices to the receiver device.

Dynamic hologram parameter control

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for controlling parameters of a holographic image. A gaze direction of a user is detected and user interaction data indicative of the gaze direction of the user is generated. A determination is then made using the user interaction data that the gaze direction of the user at least partially coincides with an object of interest. A further determination is made that the object of interest is at least partially obscured by the holographic image. One or more of the parameters of the holographic image are then adjusted to enhance visibility of the object of interest to the user.

Ambient display adaptation for privacy screens
10176781 · 2019-01-08 · ·

A display device is used in conjunction with: (1) optical sensors to collect information about ambient conditions in the environment of a viewer of the display device; and/or (2) privacy element identification and detection mechanisms (PEDMs) to collect information about the presence, orientation, and/or type of privacy elements being used in conjunction with the display device. For one embodiment, a processor in communication with the display device may create a view model based, at least in part, on the predicted effects of the ambient environmental conditions and/or presence of privacy elements being used in conjunction with the display device on the user's viewing experience. The view model may be a function of gamma, black point, white point, privacy element orientation and/or type, backlighting, field of view, number of viewers, color offset, or a combination thereof. The view model is also referred to as an ambient/privacy model.
