SCREEN FOR A FREE VIEWING MODE AND A RESTRICTED VIEWING MODE
A screen for operation in a free viewing mode or a restricted viewing mode, comprising: an image reproduction unit, a plate-shaped transparent light guide in front of the image reproduction unit and luminous means arranged on sides of the light guide. The image reproduction unit is arranged behind the light guide. In the free-viewing mode, the luminous means are switched off, with the result that the light which comes from the image reproduction unit and onto which image information is modulated passes through the light guide substantially without influence. The luminous means are switched on in the restricted-viewing mode. A light emission characteristic is generated either on the basis of scattering particles which are distributed spatially and/or in terms of the concentration in the light guide or on the basis of coupling elements arranged on at least one of the large surfaces of the light guide.
DISPLAY SYSTEM, DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, AND DISPLAY METHOD
There is provided a display system which includes a first display device; a second display device; a storage device that divides work for a work object and stores a first work content and a second work content; and a control device that displays the first work content on the first display device and displays the second work content on the second display device.
Electronic device and method for representing web content for the electronic device
An electronic device is disclosed, the electronic device including a display configured to display a first web page including a first area and a second area, a sensor configured to sense a context of the electronic device, communication circuitry configured to communicate with an external device, and a controller configured to convert at least one of the first area and the second area into voice data based on a signal output from the sensor and to control the communication circuitry to transmit the first area to the external device based on context information regarding the external device received through the communication circuitry.
Continuous glucose monitor communication with multiple display devices
A continuous glucose monitor for wirelessly transmitting data relating to glucose value to a plurality of displays is disclosed, as well as systems and methods for limiting the number of display devices that can connect to a continuous glucose transmitter. In addition, security, including hashing techniques and a changing application key, can be used to provide secure communications between the continuous glucose transmitter and the displays. Also provided is a continuous glucose monitor and techniques for authenticating multiple displays, providing secure data transmissions to multiple displays, and coordinating the interaction of commands and data updates between multiple displays.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DETECTING ACCESSORY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
The present invention relates to an electronic device for detecting an accessory device and a method for operating the same, the electronic device comprising: an external housing including a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a side surface surrounding at least a part of the space between the first surface and the second surface; a user interface exposed through at least a part of the first surface, the second surface, and/or the side surface of the housing; a communication circuit disposed inside the housing; a first sensor disposed inside the housing; a conductive member electrically connected to the first sensor and disposed adjacent to at least a part of the second surface and/or the side surface of the housing; a processor electrically connected to the communication circuit, the user interface, and the first sensor; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: detect whether the accessory device configured to be detachably mounted on the second surface of the housing comes into contact with or approaches the conductive member, using the first sensor so as to generate a first signal; compare the first signal with at least one threshold value; perform at least one action through the communication circuit and/or the user interface, on the basis of the result of the comparison. Other embodiments are also applicable.
Systems and methods for producing narrowband images
A system may produce images including narrow-bandwidth colors. One or more sets of the narrow-bandwidth colors may be selected to be interpreted as substantially a same color by a user. The system may include a light source configured to produce the narrow-bandwidth colors, and/or narrow-passband filters may create narrow-bandwidth colors from light emitted by broad-spectrum light sources or color sources. Spatial and/or time multiplexing may be used to create separate narrow-bandwidth colors interpreted as substantially a same color by the user. For example, the light source and/or the narrow-passband filter elements may be adjustable and may alternate between emission of two or more narrow-bandwidth colors. A viewing device may include filters allowing the user to selectively filter the narrow-bandwidth colors. The user may filter the narrow-bandwidth colors to separate a stereoscopic image pair, to view a user-specific image, to view desired content obfuscated by an obfuscating image, and/or the like.
Generation of a fingerprint of an access point
A wireless device may disconnect a wireless connection to a remote device. The wireless device may include a memory device and one or more processors coupled to the memory device. The processors may generate a first wireless fingerprint of the wireless device, wherein the first wireless fingerprint comprises a first basic service set identification (BSSID) of a first access point to which the wireless device is connected. The processors may further determine if the BSSID of the wireless device is changed and if the BSSID is changed perform an active scan of a plurality of wireless channels. The processors may further generate a second wireless fingerprint for the wireless device based on the active scan and disconnect a wireless connection of the wireless device if the first wireless fingerprint is at least partially different from the second wireless fingerprint.
Screen sharing management
A method to manage screen sharing includes receiving a screen sharing request of a shareable interface displayed on a first computing device of a first end user, conducting, in response to the session sharing request, an inventory of secured assets in the shareable interface, and generating a shared interface from the shareable interface. Generating the shared interface includes obtaining a first secured asset in the inventory of the secured assets, modifying the first secured asset based on a first end user permission defined for the first secured asset to generate a modified secured asset, and adding the modified secured asset to the shared interface. The method further includes transmitting the shared interface to a second computing device of a second end user.
APPLICATION REPLICATION PLATFORM
A first device may receive a request to establish a replication session between a second device and a third device, where the replication session is associated with replicating user interactions with a user interface of an application across a first instance and a second instance of the application. The first device may receive, after receiving the request, information identifying a set of interactions by a user of the second device with a first user interface provided for display by the first instance. The first device may determine, from the information, a set of instructions related to causing an indication for the set of interactions to be provided for display on a second user interface provided for display for the second instance based on the information being received from the second device. The first device may provide, after determining the set of instructions, the set of instructions to the third device.
Screen sharing session privacy manager
A screen sharing privacy manager performs method in response to initiating a screen sharing session on a computer network, in which the screen sharing session is of a first desktop environment of an operating system. A second desktop environment is generated with the operating system. The second desktop environment inaccessible to the screen sharing session. A selected item in the first desktop environment is moved to the second desktop environment based on a user profile.
