Outputting data for display before a device becomes inaccessible
Systems, methods, and computer program products to perform an operation comprising determining a charge level of a battery of a mobile device, and responsive to determining that the charge level is below a minimum threshold, selecting a first data object from a plurality of data objects stored on the mobile device based on predefined criteria, outputting the first data object on a persistent display device of the mobile device, and powering off the mobile device, wherein the first data object remains visible on the persistent display after the mobile device powers off.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND A METHOD OF DRIVING THEREOF
A method of processing image data for display by a display panel of a display device comprises receiving image pixel data representing an image. In a first mode, the method performs a first mapping of the image pixel data to drive signals, each drive signal for driving a respective pixel or group of pixels of the display panel. The first mapping is arranged to produce an on-axis luminance pattern which is dependent mainly on the image pixel data and an off-axis luminance pattern which is wholly or substantially independent of the image pixel data. The first mapping is arranged, for a pixel or a group of pixels, to map the image pixel data for the pixel or group of pixels to one of a first plurality of preselected drive signals including at least first and second pre-selected drive signals that drive, in use, the pixel or group of pixels of the display panel to produce different on-axis luminance values and that drive, in use, the pixel or group of pixels of the display panel to produce the same or similar off-axis luminance values at at least one off-axis viewing angle. This provides a private display mode. If a public display mode is desired, a second mapping of the image pixel data to a second plurality of drive signals is performed instead of the first mapping. The second mapping is arranged to produce an on-axis luminance pattern which is dependent mainly on the image pixel data and an off-axis luminance pattern which is depend ent mainly on the image pixel data.
Embedded authentication systems in an electronic device
This invention is directed to an electronic device with an embedded authentication system for restricting access to device resources. The authentication system may include one or more sensors operative to detect biometric information of a user. The sensors may be positioned in the device such that the sensors may detect appropriate biometric information as the user operates the device, without requiring the user to perform a step for providing the biometric information (e.g., embedding a fingerprint sensor in an input mechanism instead of providing a fingerprint sensor in a separate part of the device housing). In some embodiments, the authentication system may be operative to detect a visual or temporal pattern of inputs to authenticate a user. In response to authenticating, a user may access restricted files, applications (e.g., applications purchased by the user), or settings (e.g., application settings such as contacts or saved game profile).
Display apparatus and display control method
An apparatus includes a display controller configured to control a display state of a transparent display based on a sensor output that contains information regarding an object separated from the apparatus.
Testing of display subsystems
A display processor of a display system may receive an image that includes a test pattern. An input checksum may be associated with the test pattern. Hardware units of the display processor may process the image. The display system may generate an output checksum based at least in part on the test pattern after processing of the image. The display system may detect a fault in the hardware units of the display processor based on determining a difference between the input checksum and the output checksum.
INFORMATION PRIVACY IN VIRTUAL REALITY
Systems and methods are described that are configured to obtain tracking data corresponding to a plurality of users accessing a virtual reality environment. The tracking data may include information associated with a plurality of movements performed by a first user in a physical environment. The systems and methods may be configured to modify display data associated with the plurality of movements, in response to determining that the information is private, and provide, in the virtual environment, the modified display data to a second user in the plurality of users, while displaying unmodified display data to the first user.
Display device, display driving method and display system
The present disclosure provides a display device, a display driving method and a display system, wherein the display device includes a display panel and a polarizer disposed on the light outgoing side of the display panel. The polarizer comprises a first polarizing region and a second polarizing region having different polarizing directions from each other. The display device further includes an image processor configured to cause only a region of the display panel corresponding to the first polarizing region to display an image to be displayed if a first anti-peep mode is selected by a user; and to cause only a region of the display panel corresponding to the second polarizing region to display the image to be displayed if a second anti-peep mode is selected by a user. The display device according to the present disclosure has a significantly improved applicability.
Context based management for secure augmented reality applications
An example system that allows a camera enabled application, such as an augmented reality application, to run in a protected area may include a first device including a camera, the camera including a secure mode of operation and a display, an image processing module configured to convert image data from the camera to encoded data when the camera is in the secure mode and protect image data stored in the system, an encryption module configured to encrypt encoded data from the image processing module, and a protected audiovisual path mechanism configured to securely send augmented encoded data to the display.
HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE SWITCH WITH SECURITY FUNCTION
Present disclosure relates to a HID switch with security function that permits sharing of peripherals between multiple computers in a multi-network computer system. The HID switch is configured to connect at least one user input peripheral device and at least two host computers. The HID switch incudes a first directing module and a second directing module, wherein the two directing modules are physically isolated. The passages directed to the two directing modules are controlled by a physical peripheral selector. The physical peripheral selector is configured to selectively enable the first passage and the second passage, wherein only one of the first and second passages is to enabled at a time. When one of the first or the second passages is enabled, there is only one host computer is electrically connected to the user input peripheral device via one of the directing modules.
KVM EXTENDER RECEIVING END PROVIDED WITH SWITCHING DEVICE
The invention is KVM extender receiving end provided with switch device. It includes video decoder, mouse and keyboard encoder and switch device, the input end of video decoder is connected to switch device. The output end of mouse and keyboard encoder is connected to switch device.
Advantages: it will separate the intranet and the internet of the department. It will not only prevent hacker's attack but also effectively prevent internal staff from network leak. It can place two computers into the computer room, which is far away from personal office station and save a lot of office space for each office worker.
