Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatus, systems, computer program products for displaying a data source of data found in technical documentation for an item via an interactive electronic technical manual system (IETM) configured to provide electronic and credentialed access to the technical documentation via an IETM viewer. In one embodiment, a method is provided comprising: providing a window comprising (1) textual information from and/or an illustration related to the data and (2) a selection mechanism; receiving a first type or a second type of selection of the mechanism; responsive to receiving the first type of selection, generating a data source window comprising a relevant section of the data source that relates to the textual information and/or the illustration; responsive to receiving the second type of selection, generating the data source window comprising the data source; and providing the data source window for display via the IETM viewer.

The present disclosure relates to a backlight module, a display device and a control method thereof. The display device includes a first edge, a second edge, and N display areas. The N display areas are disposed between the first edge and the second edge and are arranged along the first direction; the first edge and the second edge are arranged along the first direction; the method includes: in response to a first control instruction for entering an anti-peeping display mode, controlling the display device to enter the anti-peeping display mode, wherein after the display device enters the anti-peeping display mode, among the display areas disposed between a central axis of the display device and the first edge, brightness of a display area closer to the first edge is lower than brightness of a display area closer to the central axis, and among the display areas disposed between the central axis and the second edge, brightness of a display area closer to the second edge is lower than brightness of a display area closer to the central axis, where the central axis is parallel to the first edge.
System and method for mission critical screen validation on commercial displays
A method for verifying the integrity, continuity, and availability (ICA) of information displayed on an uncertified display is disclosed. The method includes creating application data for display on the uncertified display device that includes a subliminal symbol that is periodically embedded in a few out of multiple tens of frames and that is camouflaged in the application data using steganography; transmitting the application data to the uncertified display device for display; receiving images of the application data displayed on the display screen; determining whether the subliminal symbol is detected in the captured images by extracting the symbol from the captured images and comparing the extracted symbol to an expected symbol; determining that the application data is not corrupted when the extracted symbol matches the expected symbol; and identifying a loss of ICA when the subliminal symbol is not detected or does not match the expected symbol.
Input sensing device and display device including the same
An input sensing device includes sensor pixels initialized in response to a reset signal provided through a reset line, and output a sensing signal to a read-out line in response to a scan signal provided through a scan line. A controller generates at least one start signal and dock signals. A selector selectively provides the at least one start signal and the dock signals to first control lines or second control lines. A reset driver connected to the first control lines, and supplying reset signals to at least some of the reset lines based on the at least one start signal and the clock signals provided through the first control lines. A scan driver is connected to the second control lines, and supplies scan signals to at least some of the scan lines based on the at least one start signal and the clock signals.
Storage and retrieval of video conference state based upon participants
Once participants participate in a video conference the state of information during that video conference is retained for those participants. At a future time, when those participants again meet in a video conference the state of information that was retained is retrieved and presented for them again in the subsequent video conference based upon their identifiers. Information such as the whiteboard, the chat window, shared files, camera settings, images, background, video recording, etc. are retrieved and automatically presented in the new video conference. Alternatively, a participant may be asked if the state of information from a previous video conference should be retrieved. When a participant joins a conference, the current participants grant permission or not for the current contents to be viewed by the new participant. When a participant leaves the conference, or when they all leave, a triggering condition saves the state. Participants may join in a cross-platform conference and all content from a session in another platform is retrieved. Virtual reality may also be used.
PROVIDING ENHANCED FUNCTIONALITY IN AN INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC TECHNICAL MANUAL
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatus, systems, computer program products for generating an annotation for textual information and/or media content for technical documentation for an item in an interactive electronic technical manual system (IETM) configured to provide electronic and credentialed access to the technical documentation via an IETM viewer. In one embodiment, a method is provided comprising: providing a window for display comprising the textual information and/or media content; receiving input of a selection of an annotation selection mechanism; and responsive to receiving the input: generating the annotation for the textual information and/or media content; receiving an indication of a position in the textual information and/or media content to associate with the annotation; and providing an annotation window for the annotation for display via the IETM viewer, wherein the annotation window comprises an attach file mechanism, a capture mechanism, a share mechanism, and a change form mechanism.
Methods and apparatus for data content integrity
The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for data processing, e.g., a display processing unit (DPU). The apparatus may receive data including a plurality of data bits, the data being associated with at least one data source. The apparatus may also determine whether at least a portion of the data corresponds to priority data, the priority data being within a region of interest (ROI). The apparatus may also detect an adjustment amount of the received data when at least a portion of the data corresponds to priority data, the data being displayed or stored based on the detected adjustment amount.
Securely presenting content on a display
Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products securely present content on a display. An apparatus includes a processor and a memory that stores code executable by the processor. The code is executable by the processor to logically divide content to be presented on a display into a plurality of portions and randomly determine security display settings for each of the plurality of portions such that the plurality of portions are presented on the display with their respective security display settings at a frequency above a threshold of human persistence of vision but below camera shutter speeds. The code is executable by the processor to encode the randomly determined security display settings in metadata for each of the plurality of portions prior to the content being presented on the display and send the content, including the encoded security display settings, to the display.
Apparatus, method, and program product for preventing data snipping
Apparatus, methods, and program products for preventing data snipping are disclosed. One apparatus includes a processor and a memory that stores code executable by the processor. The code is executable by the processor to partition an electronic image into a plurality of graphics frames for display on a display device, wherein each separate graphics frame in the plurality of graphics frames includes a different portion of the electronic image, and transmit each separate graphics frame of the plurality of graphics frames to the display device, wherein each separate graphics frame in the plurality of graphics frames is separately transmitted to the display device for display thereon within each display cycle. Methods and computer program products that perform the operations and/or functions of the apparatus are also disclosed.
