Privacy display control apparatus
A control system for a switchable privacy display apparatus comprises sensors arranged to determine device location, operating environment, document type, application type and further comprises a privacy policy for control of privacy images. High image visibility is provided for public mode operation while in privacy mode a high visual security level may be obtained by means of control of image luminance, contrast and white point in response to the privacy policy.
Systems and methods for providing a visible watermark in a remote session
Systems and methods for providing a visible watermark in a remote session. The methods comprise: determining if a graphic update needs to be made at a client computing device during the remote session; generating a first graphic update message in response to a determination that a graphic update is needed; identifying pixels of the graphic which would be affected by at least one watermark if the graphic and watermark were both displayed on a screen of the client computing device; constructing a second string of commands specifying a new color value for each of the pixels that were previously identified; converting the first graphic update message to a second graphic update message by inserting the second string of commands in between a first string of commands and an End-Of-Frame (“EOF”) command; and communicating the second graphic update message from the sever to the client computing device.
Display device with switchable viewing angles
A display device with switchable viewing angle includes a display panel, a backlight source, a timing controller, a source driver chip and an LED driver module. The backlight source includes a plurality of LEDs. The timing controller is connected to the source driver chip. The source driver chip is connected to the plurality of data lines. The LED driver module is connected to the plurality of LEDs. The display panel has a narrow viewing angle mode and a wide viewing angle mode. In the narrow viewing angle mode, the luminous brightness of the plurality of LEDs is adjusted to gradually decrease from the middle to both sides of the display panel. In the wide viewing angle mode, the luminous brightness of the plurality of LED is adjusted to gradually increase from the middle to both sides of the display panel.
INTERACTIVE INFORMATION OVERLAY ON MULTIPLE SURGICAL DISPLAYS
A surgical hub may be in communication with at least one augmented reality device, at least one display and at least one smart surgical device. The surgical hub may provide interactive overlay of a display, such as a surgical display or a display on a smart surgical device. For example, surgical hub may generate augmented reality (AR) content for superimposing onto the display. The AR device may overlay or superimpose additional datasets or data streams received from the hub onto a display. This interactive overlay may enable the user of the AR device to layer data on a screen when the user is looking at the screen. The surgical hub may adjust the AR content based on the display the user is viewing via the AR device. For example, the hub may adjust the AR content when the user looks from one display to another display.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a display unit, a touch sensor disposed on the display unit and detects contact with an object on the display unit, a main system, and an embedded system. The embedded system generates image data of an input area for a virtual input device, output image data of the input area to the main system by using a first general-purpose interface protected by the main system, and output input information, which is based on detection information detected in the input area by the touch sensor, via the virtual input device to the main system by using a second general-purpose interface protected by the main system. The main system displays, on the display unit, the image data of the input area output by the embedded system.
Liquid crystal display device
A liquid crystal display device includes a display panel with a switchable viewing angle and a driving circuit for driving the display panel. The display panel can switch between wide and narrow viewing angles. The driving circuit includes a display control unit, a viewing angle control unit, a viewing angle control voltage generating circuit, and a gamma voltage generating circuit. The viewing angle control unit is connected to the display control unit, the viewing angle control voltage generating circuit and the gamma voltage generating circuit. The display control unit is used to control the display panel to realize picture display. The viewing angle control unit is used to control the display panel to switch between wide viewing angle display and narrow viewing angle display.
PRIVACY DISPLAYS WITH PIEZO ELECTRIC LAYERS
In example implementations, a display is provided. The display includes a piezo electric layer coupled to a power source, a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged on the piezo electric layer, an aperture layer, a thin film transistor layer, a liquid crystal layer formed over the thin film transistor layer, and a color filter layer. The aperture layer is located above the plurality of light emitting diodes such that light emitted from the plurality of light emitting diodes travels through respective apertures in the aperture layer. The color filter layer is formed over the liquid crystal layer to control a color of the light emitted from the plurality of light emitting diodes.
Screen-on method and related apparatus
Screen-on methods and related apparatus are provided. In one aspect, a method, which can be performed by an electronic apparatus, includes: in a screen-off state, obtaining a first screen-on instruction, a screen of the electronic apparatus being divided into at least two screen areas by a bending axis; determining a first screen area based on at least one of rotation speeds or rotation accelerations at which the at least two screen areas rotate around the bending axis; and lighting up the first screen area according to the first screen-on instruction, and setting a second screen area other than the first screen area to be in the screen-off state.
Systems and methods for the secure synchronization of user interface state amongst computing devices
The current disclosure relates to a system and method for secured screen sharing. A specially configured screen sharing server of the system may facilitate screen sharing between two independent and remote devices. The system may be configured to access state information from a primary client device. The system may then determine if any of the elements of the application state primary client interface correspond to sensitive information. The system may then mask the primary client interface to create a replica client interface by masking any elements of the application state that correspond to sensitive information. The system may then cause the replica client device to display the replica client interface by transmitting the application state to the replica client interface.
Information processing system, information processing apparatus, and information processing method
An information processing apparatus provides a sharing service of enabling information to be shared by one or more terminal apparatuses, the information processing apparatus being capable of communicating with the one or more terminal apparatuses, and the one or more terminal apparatuses being associated with a group; receives first identification information from each of the one or more terminal apparatuses; and associates the first identification information with the sharing service. When having associated the first identification information with the sharing service, the information processing apparatus associates, with the group, the one or more terminal apparatuses having received the first identification information from outside and having transmitted the first identification information; and provides the sharing service of enabling information to be shared by the one or more terminal apparatuses that are associated with the group.
