User terminal apparatus and controlling method thereof
A user terminal apparatus is provided. The user terminal apparatus includes a display consisting of a main display area disposed on a front side of the user terminal apparatus and a sub display area extended from one side of the main display area to be disposed on at least one area of a rear side of the user terminal apparatus, and a processor configured to provide a lock screen to a display area of at least one of the main display area and the sub display area and, in response to a user input of releasing the lock screen being sensed, control the display to provide a different home screen based on a display area where the user input is sensed.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND RECOGNITION METHOD
A mobile terminal and a recognition method are provided. The mobile terminal includes a first display panel (21), where the first display panel (21) is a transparent piece; a second display panel (22), where the second display panel (22) is disposed facing away from the first display panel (21), and the second display panel (22) is a transparent piece; a recognition module (23), where the recognition module (23) is disposed between the first display panel (21) and the second display panel (22); and a light adjustment piece (24), where the light adjustment piece (24) is disposed between the first display panel (21) and the second display panel (22), and reflects light entering from the first display panel (21) and the second display panel (22) to the recognition module (23).
APPLICATION REPLICATION PLATFORM
A first device may receive a request to establish a replication session between a second device and a third device, where the replication session is associated with replicating user interactions with a user interface of an application across a first instance and a second instance of the application. The first device may receive, after receiving the request, information identifying a set of interactions by a user of the second device with a first user interface provided for display by the first instance. The first device may determine, from the information, a set of instructions related to causing an indication for the set of interactions to be provided for display on a second user interface provided for display for the second instance based on the information being received from the second device. The first device may provide, after determining the set of instructions, the set of instructions to the third device.
Information processing system, information processing apparatus, and method of processing information
An information processing system includes one or more intermediary apparatuses communicable with one or more output apparatuses, and an information processing apparatus communicable with the one or more intermediary apparatuses. The information processing apparatus includes circuitry configured to receive, from a terminal, specific information and a process execution request input to the terminal, identify a specific intermediary apparatus associated with a specific output apparatus based on the specific information in accordance with the process execution request, and transmit the process execution request to the identified specific intermediary apparatus. The identified specific intermediary apparatus is configured to perform processing in accordance with the process execution request transmitted from the circuitry of the information processing apparatus to control the specific output apparatus.
ILLUMINATION OF A PORTION OF A DISPLAY OF A COMPUTING DEVICE
Methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory machine-readable media illumination of a portion of a display of a computing device are described. Apparatuses can include a display, a memory device, and a controller. In an example, the controller can determine an active portion of the display and in response, illuminate the active portion while an inactive portion of the display remains unilluminated. In another example, a method can include the controller receiving a request to illuminate a portion of the display, and in response, illuminating the portion of the display while a remaining portion of the display remains unilluminated. The request can be received via a touchscreen display of a mobile device in an example.
Systems and methods for screen brightness control and auto-lock based on eye detection
A computer system is provided. The computer system includes a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to detect open eyes in an image received from a camera of the computer; recognize properties of the open eyes including orientation, designation as a left or right eye, and relative position of the eyes; group the detected open eyes into pairs of eyes based on the recognized properties; measure pupillary distance (e.g. represented in image pixels) of each of the pairs of eyes; identify the pair of eyes associated with the largest pupillary distance as the eyes closest to the camera; calculate a relative distance from the camera to the closest pair of eyes, the relative distance calculated as a ratio of the camera focal length to the largest pupillary distance; and reduce brightness of the computer screen if the relative distance is less than a threshold ratio.
Protecting Documents with Security Overlays
A method and system of augmenting display content in a graphical user interface environment. Content produced by a graphical user interface is augmented with additional content before the content is displayed. In an example, a security marker may be rendered on top of an existing display content using the method described to protect high-value or sensitive information.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MEDIA FOR DISPLAYING INTERACTIVE AUGMENTED REALITY PRESENTATIONS
Systems, methods, and media for displaying interactive augmented reality presentations are provided. In some embodiments, a system comprises: a head mounted display comprising: a transparent display; a plurality of sensors; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is programmed to: select a content display location of a plurality of predetermined content display locations to use to present content based at least in part on a location of the head mounted display within a current physical environment; and cause content to be presented by the head mounted display anchored at the selected content display location.
Head-mounted display apparatus, display system, and method of controlling head-mounted display apparatus
To provide HMD including an image display unit worn by a user on a head and configured to display an image, a camera provided in the image display unit and configured to capture an image in a predetermined direction relative to the image display unit, and a control unit configured to specify a non-display region in an imaging range of the camera, perform a process of lowering a clarity of the non-display region on captured image data of the camera, and output the processed captured image data.
Source device, content providing method using the source device, sink device and controlling method of the sink device
A source device for transmitting content to a sink device is provided. The source device may include an interface configured to perform high-bandwidth digital content protection (HDCP) authentication with the sink device, and a controller configured to determine an HDCP version supported by the sink device, convert the content so as to be encrypted in the HDCP version supported by the sink device in response to a determination that another HDCP version applied to the content is not supported by the sink device, encrypt the converted content in the HDCP version supported by the sink device, and control the interface to transmit the content to the sink device.
