20210303738 · 2021-09-30 ·

Techniques are disclosed for sensitive information leak prevention using electromagnetic rays to prevent image capture of sensitive information. An example methodology implementing the techniques includes rendering a presentation slide on a display device, identifying at least one portion of the rendered presentation slide that contains sensitive information, and determining a location of the identified at least one portion on the rendered presentation slide. The method also includes triggering at least one electromagnetic emitter to emit an electromagnetic signal within the location of the identified at least one portion of the rendered presentation slide. The emitted electromagnetic signal inhibits image capture of the sensitive information by an image capture device.

An image forming apparatus includes a communication interface, a display, and a controller configured to, when the image forming apparatus is remotely connected with an information processing device via the communication interface, transmit, to the information processing device, screen data for causing the information processing device to display a same screen as a display screen being displayed on the display, when receiving remote access from the information processing device, perform display processing for the display screen in accordance with the remote access, and when the remote access is received while a particular screen is being displayed as the display screen on the display, impose a display restriction on the display screen.

DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING PROTECTION METHOD THEREOF
20210295764 · 2021-09-23 · ·

A display device and a driving protection method thereof are provided. The display device includes a timing controller and a source driver. The timing controller encrypts a verification data to generate a first encryption signal. The source driver coupled to the timing controller receives the first encryption signal. The source driver decrypts the first encryption signal to obtain a first decryption data. The source driver encrypts the first decryption data to generate a second encryption signal. The source driver outputs the second encryption signal to the timing controller. The timing controller decrypts the second encryption signal to obtain a second decryption data. When the timing controller determines that the second decryption data matches the verification data, the timing controller enables the source driver to perform display driving.

HOLOGRAM PATTERN CONTENT DECONSTRUCTION

In an example in accordance with the present disclosure, a wearable extended reality (XR) system is described. The wearable XR system includes a transceiver to receive, from a host computing device, a hologram pattern of original content to be displayed. The wearable XR system also includes a display unit. The display unit includes 1) a pattern lens to display the hologram pattern in front of a red, green, blue (RGB) light source and 2) the RGB light source to emit red, green, and blue light towards the hologram pattern to deconstruct the hologram pattern to present the original content. The wearable XR system also includes an image director to reflect the decoded original content towards a user of the wearable XR system.

DISPLAY APPARATUS

A display apparatus comprises a control module configured to provide a power supply signal and a plurality of control signals and configured to determinate the operation of the control module in a first operation mode or a second operation mode according to a matching signal provided by the system circuit board transmitted to the printed circuit board. And, a security module is electrically coupled to the control module and configured to receive and transmit the power supply signal, wherein the security module includes a plurality of switches comprising a first switch, a second switch, a third switch and a fourth switch. Moreover, a displaying module is electrically coupled to a second terminal of the fourth switch, wherein an open state or a conducted state of each of the plurality of switches is controlled by the control module according to the operation mode of the control module.

SELECTIVE SCREEN SHARING
20210173610 · 2021-06-10 ·

Disclosed are various examples for selective screen sharing. In one example, a computing device can generate a video stream based on a screen capture and transmit the video stream to a destination device. The computing device can also obtain a user-specified modification to an area of the screen capture within the video stream. The computing device can also update the video stream by application of a transformation to the screen capture based at least in part on the user-specified modification, after the video stream started transmission to the destination device. In some cases, a user-specified modification to the area is also obtained. The video stream can be updated by applying an updated transformation to the screen capture that obscures the updated area within the video stream.

Display with parallax barriers

Examples of the present disclosure relate to a device, method, and medium storing instructions for execution by a processor for displaying multiple images. In an example, a device may include a display to present two images interleaved, where the display includes a vertical axis parallel to a line passing through a center-bottom of the display and a center-top of the display. The device includes a first parallax barrier placed between the display and an intended viewable area, where the first parallax barrier includes a first number of parallax barrier lines, where the first number of parallax barrier lines are opaque and parallel to the vertical axis. The device includes a second parallax barrier placed between the first parallax barrier and the intended viewable area, where the second parallax barrier includes a second number of parallax barrier lines, where the second number of parallax barrier lines are opaque and parallel to the vertical axis.

Privacy display apparatus controlled in response to environment of apparatus

A control system for a switchable privacy display apparatus comprises sensors arranged to determine device location, operating environment, document type, application type and further comprises a privacy policy for control of privacy images. High image visibility is provided for public mode operation while in privacy mode a high visual security level may be obtained by means of control of image luminance, contrast and white point in response to the privacy policy.

DISPLAY DEVICE
20210272493 · 2021-09-02 ·

A display device includes a display panel, a display panel driving circuit, and a power management integrated circuit that generates driving voltages, receives driving set data from a timing controller, stores driving hex values corresponding to the driving set data in first internal registers, and determines voltage levels of the driving voltages based on the driving hex values. The power management integrated circuit divides the driving hex values into upper and lower decimal values, derives a result decimal value by applying the upper and lower decimal values to a first authentication-formula, generates a result hex value based on the result decimal value, compares an authentication hex value corresponding to authentication data received from the timing controller with the result hex value, and selectively operates in a normal mode or in a protection mode based on a comparison result between the authentication hex value and the result hex value.

Significant weather advisory system

A significant weather advisory system for an aircraft is disclosed. The system is configured to identify, from strategic weather data, current significant weather events from weather impacted areas projected to be intersected by a geographical corridor around a projected flight path and projected to occur during determined time intervals during which the airborne vehicle is expected to pass through the weather impacted areas; compare the current significant weather events to previously identified significant weather events and detect significant changes between the current significant weather events and the previously identified significant weather events; and generate a notification for display to the flight crew via an onboard notification system that identifies the detected significant change when a significant change is detected.
