Interactive virtual reality system
Provided herein are method, apparatus, and computer program products for generating a first and second three dimensional interactive environment. The first three dimensional interactive environment may contain one or more engageable virtual interfaces that correspond to one or more items. Upon engagement with a virtual interface the second three dimensional interactive environment is produced to virtual simulation related to the one or more items.
Display apparatus and control method thereof
A display apparatus includes a display; a communication circuit configured to communicate with a first external device or a second external device; a storage configured to store a list of a first content group designated to allow sharing by a first user of the first external device, a second content group designed to block sharing by the first user, a third content group designated to allow sharing by a second user of the second external device, and a fourth content group designated to block sharing by the second user; and a processor configured to: selectively process a content list based on detection of the first external device and detection of the second external device through the communication circuit.
Dynamically re-configurable displays with reconfigurable regions of interest for safety critical content
Systems, methods, and devices of the various embodiments enable dynamic configuration of a number of display regions of interest (ROIs) associated with safety critical content presented on a display, such as a vehicle display. Various embodiments may enable verification of data integrity for ROIs on a display. Various embodiments may enable the selection of different sets of display ROIs from a plurality of independent sets of display ROIs each associated with its own set of stored integrity check values (ICVs). Various embodiments may enable stored ICVs to be used to verify the data integrity of ROIs on a display. Various embodiments may enable the set of display ROIs and the associated ICVs for each display ROI to be changed after a number of frames have been displayed.
Privacy display apparatus
A control system for a switchable privacy display apparatus comprises an ambient light sensor and a display luminance controller arranged to control the luminance of the display in response to measured illuminance. High image visibility is provided for public mode operation while in privacy mode visual security level above a perceived privacy threshold may be obtained by means of control of image luminance, in response to the output of the ambient light sensor.
Enhanced privacy switchable backlight system
A backlight system controls a viewing angle in a switchable privacy display system that achieves a strong private mode and enhanced brightness in the private and public modes as compared to conventional configurations. The backlight system includes a first backlight unit that emits light from a non-viewing side of the backlight system toward a viewing side of the backlight system; a second backlight unit located on a viewing side of the first backlight unit that emits light toward the viewing side of the backlight system; and a privacy optic that includes a liquid crystal material and is located on a non-viewing side of the second backlight unit and between the first backlight unit and the second backlight unit, wherein the privacy optic operates to transmit light from the first backlight unit in a limited viewing angle range.
DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR SCREEN SHARING
A device and system for screen sharing, referred to as KLIK Boks KORE, is an integrated hardware/software solution for collaboration that allows users to share content from any device to a central screen and in turn back to other users' screens for remote viewing of the content. Content displayed on the central screen is tiled in a grid by default, but may be resized, moved and overlaid in any arrangement by a meeting moderator, either by mouse or touch display control. Content may be annotated by those sharing, or by the moderator, directly over each tile, or across the entire screen surface.
Systems and methods for screen brightness control and auto-lock based on eye detection
A computer system is provided. The computer system includes a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to detect open eyes in an image received from a camera of the computer; recognize properties of the open eyes including orientation, designation as a left or right eye, and relative position of the eyes; group the detected open eyes into pairs of eyes based on the recognized properties; measure pupillary distance (e.g. represented in image pixels) of each of the pairs of eyes; identify the pair of eyes associated with the largest pupillary distance as the eyes closest to the camera; calculate a relative distance from the camera to the closest pair of eyes, the relative distance calculated as a ratio of the camera focal length to the largest pupillary distance; and reduce brightness of the computer screen if the relative distance is less than a threshold ratio.
Advanced multi-touch capabilities
According to an aspect, a collaborative aircraft display system includes an aircraft, a first display unit in a first position of the aircraft and in operable communication with a buffer unit, a second aircraft display in a second position and in operable communication with the buffer unit, where the first display unit operable to transmit a distinct copy of first data to the second display unit via a haptic stimulus, and where the buffer unit operable to filter a second data from being transmitted to the second display unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHARING ALTERED CONTENT OF A WEB PAGE BETWEEN COMPUTING DEVICES
A system and method of adaptively sharing at least one portion of a web page between computing devices by a processor may include: associating an identification of at least one first client computing device with an identification of one or more second client computing devices; receiving at least one client property of the one or more second client computing devices; receiving an indication of an event relating to presentation of the at least one web page portion on a screen of the first client computing device; adapting, in real time, at least one presentation property of the at least one web page portion, based on the event indication and on the at least one client property; and presenting the at least one web page portion on a screen of the one or more second client computing devices, based on the association of identification, and according to the adapted presentation property.
Systems and methods for dynamically concealing sensitive information
Systems and methods for dynamically concealing sensitive information in a shared screen session of a video conference are disclosed. The system may establish communication with one or more computing devices active in a video conference in which each computing device may switch between a screen share mode and a video mode. The system may determine that one or more articles of sensitive information are visible in a graphical user interface associated with a first computing device of the plurality of computing devices. The system may receive a first signal from the first computing device that indicates a first intent of a host associated with the first computing device to switch the screen share mode which includes sharing the first graphical user interface with the one or more computing devices during the video conference. In response to the first signal, the system may execute one or more privacy actions.
