QUANTUM DOT LED STRUCTURE WITH ENHANCED EMISSION
A light-emitting device for use in a display device has enhanced directional light emission, and enhanced on-axis light emission in particular. A light-emitting device includes a layer structure that includes from a non-emitting side: a first electrode layer; a first charge transport layer; an emissive layer; a second charge transport layer; a second electrode layer; an optically transparent layer; and a partially transmitting reflector layer. The light-emitting device comprises a plurality of regions and each region emits light of a different wavelength, such as for example red, green, and blue light-emitting regions. The optically transparent layer is present in at least one of the plurality of regions. The optically transparent layer may be present in more than one of the plurality of regions, and a thickness of the optically transparent layer may differ in different regions to optimize light emission at different wavelengths. The light-emitting device may include a scattering layer that scatters the emitted light, which may be switchable to permit different viewing angle display modes.
INTELLIGENT DISPLAY OF CONTENT
Systems and methods for intelligent display of content are disclosed herein. According to one illustrative method, control circuitry detects first digital content and captures connectivity information from a communication port of a computing device. The control circuitry determines, based on the connectivity information, whether the computing device is sharing second digital content with a second device via the communication port. The control circuitry retrieves, from a memory, a rule specifying criteria for determining whether to block or permit presentation of the first digital content. The control circuitry determines, based on the rule and whether the computing device is sharing the second digital content, whether to block or permit the presentation of the first digital content via the computing device, and blocks or permits the presentation of the first digital content via the computing device based on a result of the determining.
INTELLIGENT DISPLAY OF CONTENT
Systems and methods for intelligent display of content are disclosed herein. According to one illustrative method, control circuitry accesses a personal schedule via a calendar stored on a computing device. The control circuitry determines a current day and time and also determines, based on the schedule, whether work is scheduled during the current day and time. The control circuitry retrieves, from a memory, a rule specifying criteria for determining whether to block or permit presentation of content based on whether work is scheduled. The control circuitry determines, based on the rule and whether work is scheduled during the current day and time, whether to block or permit the presentation of the content via the computing device, and blocks or permits the presentation of the content based on a result of the determining.
INTELLIGENT DISPLAY OF CONTENT
Systems and methods for intelligent display of content are disclosed herein. According to one illustrative method, a computing device camera captures an image of a face. The control circuitry determines, based on the captured image, whether at least a portion of the face is directed toward a computing device display. The control circuitry retrieves, from a memory, a rule specifying criteria for determining whether to block or permit presentation of content based on whether one or more faces are directed toward the display. The control circuitry determines, based on the rule and whether at least a portion of the face is directed toward the display, whether to block or permit the presentation of the content, and blocks or permits the presentation of the content via the computing device based on a result of the determining.

A communication apparatus displays an image on a display unit, transmits a display image displayed on the display unit to another communication apparatus by wireless communication, transmits a confirmation image for confirming a transmission destination of the display image to the another communication apparatus by wireless communication to display the confirmation image on the another communication apparatus, selects, by a user operation, whether to transmit the display image to the another communication apparatus, after transmission of the confirmation image and before transmission of the display image, and transmits the display image to the another communication apparatus if it is selected in the selecting to transmit the display image.

A first device may receive a request to establish a replication session between a second device and a third device, where the replication session is associated with replicating user interactions with a user interface of an application across a first instance and a second instance of the application. The first device may receive, after receiving the request, information identifying a set of interactions by a user of the second device with a first user interface provided for display by the first instance. The first device may determine, from the information, a set of instructions related to causing an indication for the set of interactions to be provided for display on a second user interface provided for display for the second instance based on the information being received from the second device. The first device may provide, after determining the set of instructions, the set of instructions to the third device.
