Viewing angle mode switching methods of liquid crystal display device and liquid crystal display device
The present invention provides a viewing angle mode switching method of a liquid crystal display device and the liquid crystal display device. A viewing angle mode switching request is received. The target view mode is a first viewing angle mode or a second viewing angle mode. A timing relationship between the second scanning signal and the first scanning signal is adjusted, according to the viewing angle mode switching request. The liquid crystal display device is instructed to switch between the first viewing angle mode and the second viewing angle mode, according to a change of the timing relationship between the second scanning signal and the first scanning signal. With implementing the embodiments of the present invention, switch between different viewing modes can be achieved, and the display convenience of the liquid crystal display device can be improved.
Electronic apparatus and controlling method thereof
An electronic apparatus includes: a primary display screen and a secondary display screen located in different areas of the electronic apparatus respectively; the primary display screen is configured to display in a first display mode; the secondary display screen is configured to display in a second display mode; the first display mode is that after the electronic apparatus is turned on, in a non-standby state, the display screen is in the display enabled state, and in a standby state, or after the electronic apparatus is turned off, the display screen is in a display disabled state; and the second display mode is that after the electronic apparatus is turned on, the display screen is always in a display state. The apparatus may save electric energy of the electronic apparatus. A controlling method for the electronic apparatus is further provided.

A server includes a virtual machine to execute a remote graphics generation protocol. Execution of the remote graphics generation protocol determines a protection label to be inserted within a bitmap that is to be transmitted for display on a client machine associated with the virtual machine, and determines at least one optimization technique to be performed on the bitmap. A determination is made on if the at least one optimization technique, if performed, alters the at least one protection label when inserted within the bitmap. The protection label is inserted within the bitmap.
Electronic display illumination
According to an example, at least one user in proximity to a display is detected with a camera. A primary user and eye gaze are determined. The location of a secondary user relative to the display is calculated, and an active screen area and an inactive screen area based on the eye gaze are determined. A first angle and a first brightness for the active screen area and a second angle and a second brightness for the inactive screen area based on the location of the secondary user are calculated, and focus area boundaries for the active screen area based on the location of the secondary user are calculated. The first angle, the first brightness, and the focus area boundaries are applied to the active screen area, and the second angle and the second brightness are applied to the inactive screen area.
Hiding information in an image
Embodiments of the present invention provide for hiding information in an image. A first pixel point and a second pixel point that are adjacent in an image are extracted. A first sub-pixel of the first pixel point and a second sub-pixel of the second pixel point that are to be combined during display on a display device are determined, wherein the display device determines a combined pixel value according to pixel values of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel in a predefined manner. Information is hidden using parity properties of a sum of pixel values of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel while the combined pixel value determined according to pixel values of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel in the predefined manner is kept unchanged. By using unique display characteristics of a display device, information is hidden in an image without changing display effect of the image on the display device.
