METHOD, APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR CONTROLLING BRIGHTNESS OF SCREEN
A method for controlling a brightness of a screen, includes: detecting whether a photosensitive sensor is blocked when a change in light intensity is detected; and maintaining a current brightness of the screen when it is detected that the photosensitive sensor is blocked.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An information processing device according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a line-of-sight-information acquisition unit, an input-information acquisition unit, and a position presentation unit. The line-of-sight-information acquisition unit acquires first line-of-sight information that indicates a gaze position of a first user with respect to a specified object. The input-information acquisition unit acquires specified input information regarding an input performed by at least one of the first user or a second user. The position presentation unit controls, on the basis of the specified input information, an information providing device to perform a position presentation control for presenting, to the second user, the gaze position of the first user in an invisible state.
Removing overlays from a screen to separately record screens and overlays in a digital medium environment
Overlay and screen recording techniques are described that enables separate recordings of a screen and one or more overlays that were displayed on the screen during recording. In one example, pixel values of an overlay are blended with pixel values of a screen to paint the overlay onto the screen in a transparent manner that is imperceptible to the human eye but allows for original screen pixel values to be recovered from areas of the screen that were visually occluded by the overlay. This enables a user to display recording controls and visual cues on their screen without having to worry about the overlay visually occluding any screen content during the recording. One or both of the separately recorded screen and overlay streams can then be output for playback to enable viewing of the individual streams without loss in quality or content of the individual streams.
Display device, lens film and display method
A display device includes a controller, a display driver coupled to the controller, a display panel coupled to the display driver, and a lens film disposed over the display panel. The lens film includes a plurality of elongated lenses arranged in parallel with each other, each of the plurality of elongated lenses having a refractive index. The controller is configured to send an image frame to the display driver. The display driver is configured to drive the display panel to display the image frame in a plurality of display areas of the display panel arranged in parallel with each other and spaced apart from each other, each of the plurality of display areas being configured to display a portion of a display content of the image frame. The display content displayed in the plurality of display areas, after refracted by respective ones of the plurality of elongated lenses, is projected to a predetermined visible range.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR REMOTELY SUPPORTING WORK
A system for remotely supporting work, in which an image taken by a user terminal is shared between the user terminal and a terminal for remotely instructing work to remotely support work, includes: a detection unit that detects an ID or a password contained in the image; a processing unit that processes the image to make the ID and the password invisible if an ID or a password is detected; a display unit that displays the processed image on the terminal for remotely instructing work; and a receiving unit that receives a remote work instruction for the displayed processed image from the terminal for remotely instructing work.
SELECTIVE SCREEN SHARING
Disclosed are various examples for selective screen sharing. In one example, a computing device determines that a state of a destination device does not satisfy a compliance rule of a management service. The computing device also determines an area to obscure within a video stream using screen-sharing data. The video stream is generated by applying a transformation to a screen capture. The transformation obscures the area within the video stream. The video stream is transmitted to a destination device. In some cases, a user-specified modification to the area is also obtained. The video stream is updated by applying an updated transformation to the screen capture that obscures the updated area within the video stream.
Transaction medium
A transaction medium comprises a non-e-paper portion and a passive e-paper display portion to display a first expression of an authentication element in a secure representation. The first expression is related to a second expression of the authentication element, wherein a comparison of the first expression and the second expression determines authentication.
Systems and methods to provide privacy protection and brightness enhancement in an interactive environment
Described herein are systems and methods to provide privacy protection and brightness enhancement in an interactive environment. A system may include one or more of a headset, one or more light sources, one or more optical elements, one or more physical processor, and/or other components. A light source may be configured to generate linearly polarized light rays polarized on a first polarization plane along an axis of propagation. A reflective polarizer of an optical element may be configured to transmit light rays polarized on a second polarization plane transverse to the first polarization plane. Light rays polarized along the first polarization plane may be reflected off the reflective polarizer. An absorptive polarizer of an optical element may transmit light rays polarized on the second polarization plane so that light rays polarized along the second polarization plane may be transmitted through both the absorptive polarizer and the reflective polarizer.
Electronically Customizable Articles
Some implementations of this disclosure provide an electronically customizable article comprising a fashion article selected from the group consisting of a handbag, a shoe, glasses, a tie, and a bowtie wherein the fashion article comprises an electronic visual display, a processor, a communication interface for communication between the fashion article and a network, and a non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the fashion article to connect to a server over the network, receive data from the server, and display one or more images associated with the data on the electronic visual display.
LIGHT ADJUSTMENT DEVICE, METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A light adjustment device, a method of preparing the same, and a display device are provided, the light adjustment device includes: light-absorption portions spaced apart from one another, with first gaps each functioning as light ray passages and between each two adjacent light-absorption portions of the light-absorption portions, respectively; first electrodes being transparent and between each two adjacent light-absorption portions of the light-absorption portions respectively and at least partially located on both sides of each of the light ray passages; at least one second electrode being also transparent, each being in a respective one of the first gaps respectively, with second gaps each being between each second electrode and a respective adjacent one of the first electrodes; and transflective portions being electrically polarized and in the second gaps respectively, comprising light-transmitting portions and light-reflecting portions, the light-reflecting portions being steerable to be turned under an electric field force.
