A broadcast reception device receives a digital broadcast service capable of executing an application cooperating with a broadcast program, and is provided with: a broadcast reception unit which receives broadcast waves of the digital broadcast service; a separation unit which separates video information relating to the broadcast program and application-related information from the received broadcast waves; a broadcast video decoding unit which decodes the video information relating to the broadcast program; an application acquisition unit which acquires an application on the basis of location information included in the application-related information; an application execution unit which executes the acquired application and acquires additional data from a server device; a video conversion unit which converts broadcast program video decoded by the broadcast decoding unit into high-quality video having a higher quality than the video using the acquired additional data; and a display unit which is able to display the high-quality video.

The present invention discloses a display device and a method of controlling the same, dedicated spectacles and a display system, thereby enabling switching between secrecy display and normal display. The display device comprises a display panel, in which two adjacent sub-pixels located in the same row are configured to display different image information, and which only displays one image of information when in a first display state displays at least two images of information when in a second display state; the display device further comprises a control panel located at a light exit side of the display panel and comprises first regions and second regions which are alternately arranged and is configured so that when the display panel is in the second display state, a polarization direction of light emitted from the display panel after passing through the first regions is different from that of light emitted from the display panel after the light passes through the second regions. The dedicated spectacles used with the display device are configured to only allow one of light passing through the first regions and light passing through the second regions to pass therethrough.

A display method is for a display apparatus to display an image, and includes: obtaining a captured display image and a decode target image by an image sensor capturing an image of a subject; obtaining a light ID by decoding the decode target image; transmitting the light ID to a server; obtaining, from the server, an AR image and recognition information which are associated with the light ID; recognizing a region according to the recognition information as a target region from the captured display image; and displaying the captured display image in which the AR image is superimposed on the target region.

Systems and methods for providing a visible watermark in a remote session. The methods comprise: determining if a graphic update needs to be made at a client computing device during the remote session; generating a first graphic update message in response to a determination that a graphic update is needed; identifying pixels of the graphic which would be affected by at least one watermark if the graphic and watermark were both displayed on a screen of the client computing device; constructing a second string of commands specifying a new color value for each of the pixels that were previously identified; converting the first graphic update message to a second graphic update message by inserting the second string of commands in between a first string of commands and an End-Of-Frame (EOF) command; and communicating the second graphic update message from the sever to the client computing device.

A method for authenticating direct mirroring connection between a target screen device currently presenting images or video and a mobile device is provided. The method includes capturing currently displayed image by the mobile device, detecting image feature detection by image processing of the captured image, sending capture image features to a dongle device connected to the target screen device, identifying similar features by comparing the captured image features to the features of currently displayed image of the representation or the video frame, analyzing geometrical transformation between similar image features for verifying the correspondences between the set of putative points of the captured image and the real copy of the presented image and computing the homography between the images by the verified putative point correspondences and incase the computed homography is above a predefined threshold authenticate the user as currently located in the vicinity of the target screen.
