Instrument case for string instruments

The invention is based on an instrument case for receiving a string instrument (16), with a housing (12), with a receiving region (18), delimited by the housing (12), for receiving an instrument (16) and with at least one neck support module (28) comprising a neck support unit (34) for supporting an instrument neck.

It is proposed that the neck support module (28) comprises a bearing unit (40) having two bearing elements (46, 56) and supporting the neck support unit (34) in the receiving region (18) in an adjustable manner

An example reverberation device configured for use with a musical instrument is disclosed. The example reverberation device comprises: (a) an input amplifier configured to receive an input signal from the musical instrument and output an amplified input signal based on the received input signal; (b) an input transducer connected to the input amplifier and configured to transmit the amplified input signal; (c) a reverberation plate comprising a bended surface, wherein the reverberation plate is connected to the input transducer, and wherein the reverberation plate is configured to output the input signal as an output signal at the bended surface; (d) an output transducer connected to the reverberation plate at the bended surface and configured to transmit the output signal; and (e) an output amplifier configured to receive the transmitted output signal from the output transducer and output an amplified output signal.

A connector device for electronic musical instruments. The connector device comprising input electrical connector means that receives electrical signals generated by pickup means for an instrument. The instrument being played and a vibration transducer mechanically attached to the input electrical connector means or provided as an integral part of the input electrical connector means, such that vibrations from the instrument are transferred to the vibration transducer. The vibration transducer generates an electrical output signal based on the vibrations. The connector device comprises electrical output connector means that receives the electrical signals generated by the pickup means and the electrical output signal from the vibration transducer and provides these signals to equipment. The connector device further comprises a mixer that combines the signals v.sub.g(t) from the pickup means and the signal v.sub.vib(t) from the vibration transducer. The mixer provides output signal v.sub.o(t) that is a weighted combination of the input signals.

The present invention relates to a portable one piece maintenance mat with neck support. The maintenance mat has a neck support cushion having a having a centrally located indent on the topside adapted to receive the neck of a stringed instrument. The neck support is attached at the proximal end of the mat to the bottom side of said neck support. Closures are attached to the distal end of the mat. The mat is adapted to roll around said neck support and be removably secured by the closure.

Apparatus attached to the flared open end of a wind instrument includes one or more layers of particle filtering materials for preventing the dispersion of pathogens from the wind instrument while enabling sound transmission with little muffling and distortion, and minimal resistance for the musician.
