Methods of and systems for measuring analytes using batch calibratable test strips
Systems and methods for measuring analytes in fluid samples are disclosed. The systems and methods employ test strips which are generally comprised of a substrate, at least one electrical connection, at least one sensing chemistry and at least one additional layer. The test strips can be batch calibrated.
System for diagnosis and therapy of gaze stability
A system to improve vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) includes a display device; a head motion detector, the head motion detector being configured to detect at least one of a first angular rotational rate of a subject's head or a first acceleration of said subject's head in a first direction; a signal conditioner in communication with the head motion detector; a first gain control in communication with the signal conditioner; a second gain control in communication with the signal conditioner; a motion controller in communication with the display device and the first gain control and the second gain control; and a head motion-inducing device configured to induce a head motion on the subject. The head motion-inducing device includes a motor configured to rotate a head of the subject based on an instruction produced by a data processor.
Intra-oral tongue or cheek retractor with a mirror
Made of a durable and auto-claveable material including a handle portion of the intra-oral tongue/cheek retractor with a mirror device with an offset in the handle, with a handle flat surface on the mirror side, and with a retention end of handle; at least one mirror or mirrored surface; and a manner for securing/holding or having a mirror or mirrored surface to the handle flat surface on the mirror side where the device can free-up hands of a professional and/or an assistant; can remove any extra “hardware” in a mouth of a patient; provides better visual feedback from the mouth of the patient to the professional; is useable for dental procedures and oral surgery; and is sterilizable in conventional dental or surgical machines.

HIGH VOLUME EVACUATION STRAW TONGUE RETRACTOR
A dental device that mates a high volume extraction unit to a tongue retractor to allow the dental assistant to remove fluids and debris from the mouth of a patient with ease and using a minimal volume of the space in a patient's mouth. The device has a straw collar that encircles the shaft of a suction straw in a “Vee” configuration with a set of opposing half-bands. A post extending inward from the front half band locks the suction straw in place. Affixed to the suction straw is a paddle shaped tongue retractor with an array of orifices there through to allow the vacuuming of fluids and debris from the bottom side of the retractor.

Tongue anteriorizer
A tongue anteriorizer includes a handle and a tongue lifting part having a curved portion. The tongue lifting part is configured to move the tongue anteriorly, open the laryngopharyngeal area, and make endotracheal intubation simple, safe and efficient. The tongue lifting part has a wider section and may have protrusions on part of the tongue lifting part surface.
Image type laryngoscope apparatus
An image type laryngoscope apparatus includes a laryngoscope (3), a fastening device (1) and an image device (2). The image device is attached to the laryngoscope by the fastening device, and the signal transmitting unit (21) of the image device transmits image signals to a monitor (24) in a wire transmission manner or to a mobile device (4) in a wireless transmission manner, so that the operator can clearly inspect the present condition of a patient's throat by the image signals.
