MOTORIZED POLE MOUNT FOR SONAR TRANSDUCERS
The present invention is directed to a mounting device for a fish finding apparatus and, more particularly, to a motorized mounting device which includes an adjustable length pole used to mount a sonar transducer or other device an angler may be interested in mounting to the end of the pole that enters the water. The pole is used to spin the transducer or other apparatus in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction with a switch that is adapted to be operated by the angler's foot or a wireless remote. The mounting device is configured to be secured to a boat or mounted on a boat troll motor whereby the adjustable pole is secured and spins independent of the troll motor shaft.
Underwater ultrasonic communication system and method
An underwater acoustic communication system for a mobile electronic device, such as a smartphone, has a communication unit with one or more ultrasonic transducers to transmit and receive underwater ultrasonic signals. The communication unit is connected to an audio auxiliary interface of the mobile electronic device. A processing unit in communication with the auxiliary interface receives RF signals from and transmits RF signals to the communication unit via the audio auxiliary interface.
Interposer electrical interconnect coupling methods, apparatuses, and systems
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for coupling a flexible circuit to a printed circuit board (PCB) with an interposer in an ultrasound probe are disclosed. A bolster plate configured to compress the PCB, interposer, and flexible circuit against a transducer mount is disclosed. A method of coupling a bolster plate to a transducer mount with fasteners is disclosed. Fasteners that do not pass through the PCB, interposer, and flexible circuit are disclosed.
Flooded member detection by means of ultrasound
A sensor system for detecting water or air in a hollow member comprises a first acoustic sensor assembly in a first housing on one side of the hollow member, a second acoustic sensor assembly in a second housing on the opposite side, a controller unit connected to the first and/or second sensor assemblies, and where the first and second sensor assemblies and the controller unit are provided with power supply. Each of the first and second sensor assemblies comprises a set of probes connected to electronics for transmitting and receiving signals, and where the housings comprise fastening means for connecting the housings and the probes to the hollow member. The controller unit comprises a microcontroller, software for controlling and coordinating transmission and reception of signals between said probes, and means for registering and logging data generated by the sensor assemblies. A method detects water or air in a hollow member.
VOCAL ACOUSTIC ATTENUATION
Systems and methods to provide vocal acoustic attenuation for an acoustic sensor are disclosed, comprising attenuating an acoustic signal using an attenuation material covering at least a portion of a first surface of the acoustic sensor.
Phased array ultrasonic transducer and method of manufacture
A phased array ultrasonic transducer includes a bonding wire structure, a damping material, a plurality of ultrasonic transducers, and a printed circuit board. The bonding wire structure includes a plurality of bonding wire elements. The damping material surrounds the bonding wire structure and is interposed with the plurality of bonding wire elements. The plurality of ultrasonic transducers is arranged in a matrix beneath a membrane, each of the plurality of ultrasonic transducers being coupled to a corresponding bonding wire element of the plurality of bonding wire elements. The printed circuit board includes a plurality of circuits. Each of the plurality of circuits is coupled to a corresponding bonding wire element of the plurality of bonding wire elements.
SOUND LEAKAGE REDUCTION DEVICES AND ACOUSTIC OUTPUT DEVICES
The present disclosure provides a sound leakage reduction device. The sound leakage reduction device may include an energy conversion structure, a vibration structure, and a housing. The housing may include a vibration cavity and at least one resonance cavity. The energy conversion structure may be located in the vibration cavity and connected with the vibration structure. The at least one resonance cavity may communicate with the vibration cavity through at least one communication hole. A volume of each resonance cavity may be smaller than a volume of the vibration cavity.
UNDERWATER DETECTION APPARATUS AND UNDERWATER DETECTION METHOD
An underwater detection apparatus is provided which includes a transmission transducer, a reception transducer, and a motor. The transmission transducer transmits a transmission wave within a given fan-shaped transmission space, the fan-shaped transmission space having a first transmission width in a given first plane and a second transmission width in a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. The reception transducer receives, as a reception wave, a reflection wave of the transmission wave within a given fan-shaped reception space, the fan-shaped reception space having a first reception width in the first plane and a second reception width in the second plane, the second reception width being wider than the second transmission width, and in the second plane, the fan-shaped transmission space being within the fan-shaped reception space. The motor rotates the fan-shaped transmission space and the fan-shaped reception space.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INTERIOR SOUND IN A VEHICLE AND A DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING SOUND PROVIDING THE METHOD
A sound control device controls an interior sound in a vehicle based on a slope of a road on which the vehicle travels. The sound control device includes: a sound canceling circuit for generating a first correcting sound for lowering a level of an interior sound measured in the vehicle; a sound boosting circuit for generating a second correcting sound for increasing the level of the interior sound; and a controller for setting a level of a second target sound to be less than a level of a first target sound. In particular, the second target corresponds to a ramp in which an absolute value of the slope is greater than a reference value and the first target sound corresponds to a flatland in which the absolute value of the slope is equal to or less than the reference value.
CORRUGATED ACOUSTIC STIFFENING DEVICES AND METHODS
A method for forming a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic acoustic panel may comprise: stacking plies of thermoplastic composite sheets to a first thickness to form a top sheet; stacking plies of thermoplastic composite sheets to a second thickness to form a backskin; staking plies of thermoplastic composite sheets to a third thickness to form a stiffening member; forming the top sheet in a first contour; forming the backskin in a second contour, the second contour being different from the first contour; forming the stiffening member comprising a shape having a plurality of peaks and troughs; bonding the stiffening member to the top sheet and the backskin; and perforating the top sheet.
