Motion feedthrough
A motion feedthrough for a surgical drape, the motion feedthrough comprising a drive transfer element comprising a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being releasably engageable with a portion of a robot arm and the second portion being releasably engageable with a portion of an instrument, the drive transfer element being movable relative to a bulk portion of the drape so as to transfer drive between the robot arm and the instrument.

Adjustable endoscope fixing device
An adjustable endoscope fixing device, comprises a tail bed, a three-way connector and a locking screw; an outer wall surface of a straight column section of the tail bed is provided with a rectangular slot; and an outer wall surface of a first connecting end of the three-way connector is provided with a locking structure, and the straight column section of the tail bed is connected to the first connecting end of the three-way connector, and the tail bed is fixed to the three-way connector by the locking structure.
Surgical shaft assemblies with flexible interfaces
A slip ring assembly is used with a surgical shaft assembly. The slip ring assembly includes a slip ring, a first conductor mounted on the slip ring, a commutator rotatable relative to the slip ring, and a second conductor mounted on the commutator. The slip ring assembly further includes a flexible member disposed between the slip ring and the commutator. The flexible member comprises a body and flexible protrusions extending from the body, wherein the flexible protrusions are elastically deformed against the first slip ring.
Smart tourniquet
A smart tourniquet for self-administering a medication is provided. When a patient needs to inject themselves with a medication, intravenously, called an “infusion,” the patient wears the smart tourniquet around their arm and tightens the device. While the patient is using the smart tourniquet, the device automatically records the date and time of the infusion, called a “timestamp”. The patient can also use the device to record the dosage or “number of units” taken at the time of the infusion. The smart tourniquet can store the timestamp as well as other related information as a record. At a later time, the patient can recall prior records on the smart tourniquet itself. The smart tourniquet can also be synchronized with an application and the records can be downloaded for review by the patient, nurse or doctor to render accurate and timely care.
Cutting tools, systems and methods for navigated bone alterations
Cutting tools, systems and methods for navigated procedures are provided. A cutting tool (e.g. oscillating blade, etc.) for a power tool has an optically trackable feature in a defined positional relationship relative to a cutting feature of the cutting tool. The trackable feature may include reflective material applied to a surface (e.g. a recessed blade surface). The trackable feature is be imaged by a camera integral with or attached to the power tool and provided to a computing unit of a navigation system to determine a relative pose of the cutting feature and camera. The camera may also track a patient's bone such that the computing unit may determine a relative position of the bone and camera. The unit then computes a relative pose of the cutting feature with respect to the patient's bone and provides same for determining display information and/or to a robotic controller for procedural control.
Tourniquet
The present disclosure relates to a tourniquet 1 comprising a tension sensor 8 and loop portion 4 ensuring that an intended pressure has been achieved on a body part on which the tourniquet is applied. The tension sensor comprises a plurality of cuts 20 arranged in a predetermined pattern. The present disclosure also relates to a dispenser comprising a plurality of such tourniquets, and a kit comprising a tourniquet.
Knotless instability suture anchor construct and system
An anchor construct having an anchor having a length of suture material passing therethrough, the suture material having a loop strand terminating at a first end and a post strand terminating at a second end, a splice loop formed by first end, a sliding construct formed by the first end and the second end, wherein the sliding construct is configured to adjust the relative position of the splice loop and the anchor. The anchor construct can be deployed by passing the first end through a first body and through the splice, creating a locking loop of a first size around the first body, implanting the anchor into a bone hole, pulling the post strand to decrease the perimeter of the positioning loop to a second size smaller than the first size, and pulling the loop strand to decrease the perimeter of the locking loop to a smaller second size.
Devices for minimally invasive procedures
The invention relates to an assembly for use in minimally invasive surgical procedures, including bone implant fixation procedures. The assembly is configured to provide a faster and more accurate measurement of depth of holes for placement of bone screws and fasteners. The assembly includes a guidewire having a deployable distal hook member configured to securely anchor into a desired position relative to a hole drilled in a bone and thereby provide an accurate datum for a measuring instrument for determining a depth of the hole for subsequent screw placement. The assembly further includes a surgical depth instrument to cooperatively function with the guidewire and obtain one or more measurements while operably coupled to the guidewire.
Delivery systems for control of gastrointestinal bleeding
The present disclosure relates to a gastrointestinal delivery device of a dressing, where the delivery device is capable of fitting through a narrow channel before expanding and applying the dressing. The gastrointestinal delivery device may be used in all gastrointestinal bleeding applications and can be used with a biocompatible, foldable, thin profile, chitosan dressing. Various aspects of the device and its uses are provided herein.
