An image capture device for recording HDR (high dynamic range) image data obtained through image capture performs control so as to, when encoding HDR image data obtained by capturing an image with an image sensor, divide part of the HDR image data corresponding to a coding area to be encoded into a plurality of divided HDR image data, encode each of the plurality of divided HDR image data by using encoding means, and record the plurality of divided HDR image data that are encoded on a recording medium in a predetermined recording format.

System and methods are provided for determining whether a media file in a private network has been suspiciously modified. In embodiments, a server controlled by a service provider, for example, can generate a digital provenance for a media file from a trusted device and immutably store a hash value representing the digital provenance of the media file. Subsequent instances of the media file that are detected within the private network, in embodiments, are evaluated by the server using the digital provenance of the media file in order to identify changes to the content of the media file. In further embodiments, the server can modify the content of a suspiciously modified media file to include a marker that disclaims the content and/or otherwise indicates that the media file has been modified.

A method performed by a portable media player device. The method receives a microphone signal that includes audio content output by an audio playback device via a loudspeaker. The method determines identification information regarding the audio content, wherein the identification information is determined through an acoustic signal analysis of the microphone signal. In response to determining that the audio playback device has ceased outputting the audio content, the method retrieves from local memory of the portable media player device or a remote device with which the portable media player device is communicatively coupled, an audio signal that corresponds to the audio content and drives a speaker that is not part of the audio playback device using the audio signal to continue outputting the audio content and any additional audio content related to the audio content.

The present disclosure provides a split-screen playback method, apparatus and device for lock screen video and a storage medium. The method includes: monitoring whether a screen enters a screen-locked state; upon monitoring that the screen enters a screen-locked state, obtaining at least two video files; playing the video files on different display areas of the screen, respectively; wherein a number of the display areas is consistent with a number of the video files. The present disclosure can implement split-screen playback for lock screen video without changing hardware of a terminal, thereby effectively improving the playback efficiency of the video, facilitating popularization and application, and providing good user experience.

The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus of editing a multimedia file, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method includes: acquiring a multimedia file and an operation information contained in each editing track of a plurality of editing tracks, wherein the operation information is acquired to edit the multimedia file; detecting a multimedia file frame contained in the each editing track at a current time in a case of editing the multimedia file in a chronological order; editing the multimedia file frame contained in the each editing track at the current time by using the operation information associated with the multimedia file frame, so as to obtain an edited file frame contained in the each editing track at the current time; and performing an encoding synthesis on the edited file frame contained in the each editing track at the current time.

A method for detecting an unauthorized copy of a content according to an embodiment of the present invention includes providing content including a plurality of images to a terminal device; collecting scroll inputs applied by a user to the terminal device when viewing the content, and generating scroll log information from the scroll inputs; and constructing a database by collecting the scroll log information according to each user account registered in the service server or identification information of the terminal device.

The disclosed computer-implemented method includes determining that audio quality is to be adjusted for a multimedia streaming connection over which audio data and video data are being streamed to a content player. The audio data is streamed at a specified audio quality level and the video data is streamed at a specified video quality level. The method also includes determining that a specified minimum video quality level is to be maintained while adjusting the audio quality level. Still further, the method includes dynamically adjusting the audio quality level of the multimedia streaming connection while maintaining the video quality level of the multimedia streaming connection at at least the specified minimum video quality level. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Systems herein allow a user to record a presentation with a slides file. The system can record action events generated by a viewer application that displays slides of the slides file. The system can also record an audio segment for each displayed slide. An action information file can be created that links action events and audio segments to slides, and provides timing information for the action events. This can allow for playback of a narrated presentation where actions are recreated in synchronization with the narration while reducing the reliance on large video files.

The invention, as shown by the system in FIG. 2, relates to a client-side content tracking system of media files, e.g. digital music files. Audio tracking—or indeed multimedia tracking—is shifted to a client-side perspective, with the client tasked with establishing use of a selected source audio track by tracking—and then reporting uplink to the server—at least one of: entry and exit points associated with playing of at least one of said musical sections in the identified source audio track, and how the identified source audio track was used, performed or manipulated at the client device. Server functionality is designed, having regard to the reported tracking data and its link to a unique identifier to permit the media file (e.g. source audio track) to be selected and/or identified, to store or relay—possibly in the context of a subscription service and billing regime for content use—tracking data related to use of at least a portion of the source audio track at or by the client device. In the context of audio, reporting of use at a client device can, in turn, cause streaming of related multi-media content from a third-party database to the client device. For music, reporting of entry and end points into and out of sections of complete audio tracks can coincide with musically seamless audio transitions between sections.

The present embodiments provide methods and systems to playback and customize the playback of content relative to the portable storage medium. Some of these methods identify content to be rendered, through a playback device, in association with a first portable storage medium; identify one or more customizable display parameters to be applied in displaying the identified content; receive a first definition, following the identification of the customizable display parameters, for at least a first customizable display parameter of the one or more customizable display parameters; and cause the first definition for the first customizable display parameter to be stored on the playback device in association with the first customizable display parameter such that the first definition is to be applied by the playback device in rendering the content relative to the first customizable display parameter.
