Looping presentation of video content
11689692 · 2023-06-27 · ·

A highlight moment within a video, music to accompany a looping presentation of the video, and a looping effect for the video may be determined. A segment of the video to be used for the looping presentation of the video may be selected based on highlight moment, the music, and the looping effect. The looping presentation of the video may be generated to have the segment edited based on a style of the looping effect and to include accompaniment of the music.

Tape reposition management in a tape data storage drive

In one aspect of tape repositioning management in accordance with the present description, in response to loading a tape in a tape drive, mounting the tape linear tape file system (LTFS) is initiated including reading an index partition on the tape to extract metadata for mounting the tape LTFS, and prior to accessing a data area of the tape in response to any application access request, the tape is repositioned within a data partition to read a vHRTD (virtual High Resolution Tape Directory) recorded in an EOD (End of Data) portion such as an EOD data set, for example, of the data partition. The EOD portion is read to retrieve the vHRTD to facilitate application requested accesses to the tape. In one embodiment, repositioning and stopping the tape at the beginning of the data partition after reading the index partition containing metadata is bypassed.

OUTPUT CONTROL APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING OUTPUT OF CONTENTS, OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

An imaging apparatus includes a first detecting unit configured to detect the trajectory of a first touch operation which is a touch operation which is performed while contact with a touch panel is kept, a setting unit configured to set a touch operation area having a shape according to the trajectory of the first touch operation detected, a second detecting unit configured to detect a second touch operation which is a touch operation on the set touch operation area, and an output control unit 10e configured to control content output on the basis of the detected second touch operation.

MOVIE ADVERTISING PLAYBACK SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An ad in a movie can be a static ad having a position in the movie that cannot be moved, or a dynamic ad having a position in the movie that can be changed. When a viewer wishes to skip a portion of the movie containing the ad, the playback system determines whether the ad is static or dynamic. If the ad is static, only the portion of the movie preceding the static ad can be skipped; the ad is unskippable. This technique is referred to as “bounceback” since the end of the skip bounces back to the start of the static ad. If the ad is dynamic, it is moved to after the end of the skip. This technique is referred to as “slip-ad” since the ad slips to later in the movie. When a movie has multiple ads, some can be static and some can be dynamic.

Randomly accessible visual information recording medium and recording method, and reproducing device and reproducing method

Access point pictures designated as randomly accessible positions are I pictures or P pictures. Information indicating the decoding sequence (I1, P1, B1, B2, B3, B4, P2, . . . ) of pictures functioning as access points and attribute information (picture_type) indicating whether a picture functions as an access point or is necessary for decoding of the access point following a given access point are recorded on the video information recording medium. Random access is possible even if the GOP interval is lengthened.

Digital camera user interface for video trimming

A digital video camera comprising: user controls enabling a user to select between at least an up input, a down input, a left input, a right input, and a confirmation input; and a program memory storing instructions to implement a method for trimming a digital video sequence. The method includes: selecting a digital video sequence; initiating a trimming operation; accepting user input to select a start frame and an end frame for a trimmed digital video sequence, wherein the up input and the down input are used to select between a start frame selection mode and an end frame selection mode, and the left input and the right input are used to scroll through the frames of the selected digital video sequence; and trimming the selected video sequence to include the frames between the selected start frame and the selected end frame.

Method and device for bounding an object in a video

The invention relates to a method for bounding an object in a video sequence F.sub.x,y,t. The method includes obtaining a subset of pixels located in the object to annotate, in each frame of the video sequence. Spatio-temporal slicing is performed on the video sequence F.sub.x,y,t, centered on the obtained subsets of pixels, resulting in a first image F.sub.y,t obtained by an horizontal concatenation of first slices, comprising the obtained subsets of pixels, and resulting in a second image F.sub.x,t obtained by a vertical concatenation of second slices. A trajectory of the obtained subsets of pixels is displayed on both the first F.sub.y,t and second F.sub.x,t image. A bounding form around the object to annotate is obtained out of four points in each frame of the video sequence, wherein the coordinates of the four points of a frame t are obtained from the coordinates of the points located in the first and second boundary of the first and second image for that frame t.

VIDEO PROCESSING DEVICE, VIDEO PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

In the video processing device, the video acquisition means acquires a material video. The audience scene extraction means extracts an audience scene showing an audience from the material video. The important scene extraction means extracts an important scene from the material video. The association means associates the audience scene with the important scene. The generation means generates a digest video including the important scene and the audience scene associated with the important scene.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING TIME LAPSE VIDEOS

Video information may define spherical video content having a duration. Spherical video content may define visual content viewable from a point of view as a function of progress through the spherical video content. Path information may define a path selection for the spherical video content. Path selection may include movement of a viewing window within the spherical video content. The viewing window may define extents of the visual content viewable from the point of view as the function of progress through the spherical video content. Time lapse parameter information may define at least two of a time portion of the duration, an image sampling rate, and a time lapse speed effect. A time lapse video may be generated based on the video information, the path information, and the time lapse parameter information.

The present disclosure relates generally to content delivery techniques in audio-visual streaming systems. The techniques include altering video or audio portions of media content based on user input or interaction. The techniques further include altering text or messaging distributed to multiple users based on user input.
