Playback device
A playback device of the present disclosure includes a processing unit and a control unit. When having acquired identification information, the control unit calculates, on a playback time axis and based on the acquired identification information, a first point-of-time on the playback time axis, the first point-of-time being a point-of-time turning back a current point-of-time on the playback time axis by a first duration-of-time satisfying a first predetermined condition, and newly sets the calculated first point-of-time in the processing unit. The processing unit generates a video in which frames from the first point-of-time are arranged in chronological order, based on at least a part of acquired 6DoF content, a position and an orientation of a set viewpoint, and the first point-of-time newly set by the control unit.
Storage and editing of video of activities using sensor and tag data of participants and spectators
Video from multiple locations in a venue, in which multiple individuals are engaged in activities, such as athletic performances or non-sporting activities, is stored and edited, using sensor data from participants and tag data from spectators, to create individualized video programs of athletic performances of individuals. Each camera provides a video feed that is continuously stored. Each video feed is stored in a sequence of data files in computer storage, which data files are created in regular time intervals. Each file is accessible using an identifier of the camera and a time interval. Similarly, data from sensors and tagging devices are continuously received and stored in a database. The database stores, for each sensor, an identifier of each individual detected in the proximity of the sensor and the time at which the individual was detected. Each sensor is associated with one or more cameras. Tag data is similarly stored from tagging devices manipulated by spectators.
Script-based multimedia presentation
Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a method, computer program product, and system to seamlessly integrate a multimedia presentation with triggered content provided using one or more external devices. The method includes processing a presentation script that specifies (i) one or more accessible audiovisual content items and (ii) a sequence of the audiovisual content items for presentation during the multimedia presentation. The method also includes transmitting the one or more audiovisual content items to one or more audiovisual output devices according to the sequence, and transmitting control signals to the one or more external devices to operate the external devices according to timing information included in the presentation script and with reference to at least one of the audiovisual content items, thereby seamlessly integrating content provided using the external devices with the multimedia presentation.
EVENT/OBJECT-OF-INTEREST CENTRIC TIMELAPSE VIDEO GENERATION ON CAMERA DEVICE WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF NEURAL NETWORK INPUT
An apparatus including an interface and a processor. The interface may be configured to receive pixel data generated by a capture device. The processor may be configured to generate video frames in response to the pixel data, perform computer vision operations on the video frames to detect objects, perform a classification of the objects detected based on characteristics of the objects, determine whether the classification of the objects corresponds to a user-defined event and generate encoded video frames from the video frames. The encoded video frames may be communicated to a cloud storage service. The encoded video frames may comprise a first sample of the video frames selected at a first rate when the user-defined event is not detected and a second sample of the video frames selected at a second rate while the user-defined event is detected. The second rate may be greater than the first rate.
Method and system for sign language translation and descriptive video service
A method and a system for a sign language translation and descriptive video service are disclosed. The method and system enables an easy preparation of video including a descriptive screen and a sign language so that a hearing-impaired person and a visually impaired person can receive a help for using a video media. The method includes extracting a character string in a text form from a caption of an original video; translating the character string in the text form extracted from the caption of the original video to a machine language; matching the character string translated to the machine language with a sign language video in a database; synchronizing the original video with the sign language video, and mixing the original video and the synchronized sign language video; and editing the sign language video with a sign language video editing tool.
RECORDER WITH RETROSPECTIVE CAPTURE
A device and method allows a user to create a mark corresponding to a moment in time of a captured recording to provide later viewing of a portion of the recording corresponding to the moments in time.
Method and Terminal for Controlling Multimedia File Play Progress
A method for controlling multimedia file play progress includes receiving a leftward/rightward slide operation performed by a user in a first area on a current play screen, obtaining data related to the slide operation, determining, according to a correspondence between an adjustment speed and a vertical coordinate of a track of the slide operation on the touchscreen, the adjustment speed corresponding to the vertical coordinate, where a value of the adjustment speed depends on a value of the vertical coordinate, determining, according to a slide direction, a direction of progress control performed on current play progress of the multimedia file, determining a progress adjustment value according to the slide distance and the adjustment speed corresponding to the vertical coordinate, and performing progress control on the current play progress of the multimedia file in the determined direction of progress control according to the progress adjustment value.
SELECTION OF AN AUDIO STREAM OF A VIDEO FOR ENHANCEMENT USING IMAGES OF THE VIDEO
An audio stream of a video is selected for enhancement using image of the video. In one example, audio streams in the video are identified and segregated. Points of interest and their locations are identified in the image of the video. The position of each audio stream is plotted to a location of a point of interest. A selection of a point of interest from the sequence of images is received. A plotted audio stream is selected based on the corresponding point of interest and the selected audio stream is enhanced.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZING CONTENT CREATION ON A MOBILE PLATFORM USING MOBILE MULTI-TRACK TIMELINE-OPTIMIZED EDITING AND VIEWER INTEREST CONTENT FOR VIDEO
An embedded editing system allows mobile video capture, editing, and sharing/publishing. The systems and methods disclosed herein may facilitate mobile multi-track timeline-based video editing. The systems and methods disclosed herein may allow for easy creation of picture-in-picture videos and/or other forms of video and/or other forms of creative or expressive content, particularly content captured from mobile devices. Feedback interactions captured at a viewer device may be used as the basis of viewer interest content provided to a user capturing and publishing video content and/or to third parties. The feedback interactions may visually represent content-level feedback against interactive portions of video content.
Program, information storage medium, image processing device, image processing method, and data structure
To provide a program, an information storage medium, an image processing device, an image processing method, and a data structure capable of collaboration between replay data and a motion picture produced by an image capturing unit during a period corresponding to the replay data. A replay data obtaining unit obtains replay data for reproducing the status of execution of a program. A captured motion picture obtaining unit obtains a captured motion picture that is produced by the image capturing unit during an image capturing period including at least a part of a reproduction period in which the status of execution of the program is reproduced based on replay data. A data holding unit holds replay data and a captured motion picture so as to be correlated to each other.
