PLAYLIST PROGRAMMING
Systems, device and techniques are disclosed for receiving a request from a user to add a media item to a playlist at a certain playlist position where the media items in the playlist are provided to other users in a media group. Based on a determination that the requesting user has rights to the requested media item, the requested media item may be added to the playlist at the position. When the playlist reaches the position, the user that added the media item to the playlist may be provided with a first version of the media item and the other users in the group may be provided with a second version of the media item. If the user that requested the item to be added to the playlist is determined not to have rights to the media item, the item is added to a position different than the requested position.

Systems and methods for presenting auxiliary video relating to an object a user is interested in when the user returns to a frame of a video in which the object is depicted
Systems and methods are described herein for a media guidance application that detects, and responds to, a user's review of video content on a media device. The media guidance application detects a rewind operation during playback of a video comprising a media asset. In response, the media guidance application determines if the playback position reached during the rewind operation occurs during a first break in the media asset and, if so, identifies objects depicted in the video at the playback position, and presents auxiliary video relating to an object at a second break in the media asset.
Methods and systems for determining ball shot attempt location on ball court
Methods and systems for determining a ball shot attempt location on a ball court are disclosed. The method includes receiving an input video, where the input video includes the ball shot attempt and one or more players; receiving a declared ball shot attempt; determining a potential shooter by detecting a moving object flow in the input video; determining a potential shooter image region in the image plane by analyzing an overlapping image area of the ball trajectory and the potential shooter; determining a shooter foot-on-court time; determining a most probable pair of shooter legs in the potential shooter image region; determining a shooter foot location based on the most probable pair of shooter legs; and determining a ball shot attempt location on the ball court by applying a camera projection to the shooter foot location.

Advanced video editing techniques using sampling patterns
Systems and methods provide for advanced video editing techniques using sampling patterns. In one example, a computing device can receive a selection of a clip of a video and a sampling pattern. The computing device can determine a respective number of frames to sample from the clip for each interval of time over a length of time for a new clip. For example, the computing device can determine a function corresponding the pattern that relates time and the number of frames to sample, a histogram corresponding to the pattern, or a definite integral corresponding to the pattern, among other approaches. The computing device can extract these numbers of frames from the clip and generate the new clip from the extracted frames. The computing device can present the new clip as a preview and send the new clip to other computing devices.
Imaging device, imaging method, and program
An imaging device according to a first aspect of the present invention includes an imaging section that captures a video, a static image file generation section that extracts a first frame from a plurality of frames constituting the video and generates a static image file, a video file generation section that divides the video in accordance with the generation of the static image file to generate a plurality of video files, and a storage section that stores the static image file in association with a first video file that includes the first frame among the plurality of video files.
Detecting loss of attention during playing of media content in a personal electronic device
A mobile device has at least one media output device for presenting first media content, at least one communication interface that receives signals/data indicative of whether a consumer of the first media content is actively consuming the first media content; and at least one processor executing program code, which enables the mobile device to: during playing of a first media content, receive, via the communication interface, the first data; evaluate, based on a comparison of the first data with comparative data, whether the first data indicates that the consumer is not paying attention to the first media content; and in response to the consumer not paying attention, identify, by the processor, based on a time of receipt of the first data, a first time corresponding to a location within the first media content at which the consumer stopped paying attention during the playback of the first media content.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRESENTING AUDIOVISUAL WORK, DEVICE, AND MEDIUM
This application provides a method and apparatus for presenting an audiovisual work, a device, and a medium, and belongs to the field of artificial intelligence. The method includes: displaying a map control of the audiovisual work, the map control displaying a map associated with a plot of the audiovisual work; determining a marker point on the map in response to a location marking operation on the map; and presenting a plot clip in the audiovisual work that corresponds to the marker point.
JUKEBOX DATA STORAGE SYSTEM WITH INERT ENVIRONMENT
A system includes a library compartment, a player and a gas generator. The library compartment houses a plurality of data storage disks. The player is external to the library compartment and comprises a head that is configured to interact with at least one of the plurality of data storage disks. The gas generator is fluidly connected to the player. An embodiment includes a partition between the library compartment and player, the partition including a selectively openable interlock. In an embodiment, the player has a negative fluid pressure relative to the library compartment. A method of controlling an environment in a disk player is also described. The method includes detecting a composition of a fluid environment in the disk player and detecting a pressure of the fluid environment in the disk player.
