Menu navigation mode for media discs
Systems and methods are provided for reordering and/or bypassing certain informational content or menus that are conventionally presented prior to playback of media content stored on physical media discs. Upon initial use of a physical media disc, certain information content or menus may be presented to a user or viewer, for example, piracy warnings, language selection menus, etc. However, upon subsequent use of the physical media disc, such informational content or menus may be bypassed. The user or viewer is given an option to immediately begin consuming the media content stored on the physical media disc. Conventional content, such as trailers are not played prior to playback of the media content.
Audio output device
An audio output device comprises a loudspeaker and, four stem control inputs substantially even spaced on the upper surface of a housing. The stem control inputs are each divided into four segments, each comprising a touch sensor and an illumination unit. Each stem control input is associated with a different stem in an audio track for playback via the loudspeaker. Touching the segments of each stem control input results in the touch being detected and a touch signal being output by the respective segment. In response to a touch signal, the associated illumination unit is togged on/off and a property of the associated stem is varied during playback by loudspeaker.
Video processing method and apparatus, terminal, and storage medium
In a video processing method, a video reverse playback instruction is received. A total video duration of the video and a played duration of the video are obtained in response to the video reverse playback instruction. The video reverse playback instruction indicates that the video is to be played in reverse order. A first reverse playback time point corresponding to the video is determined according to the total video duration and the played duration. Subdata from video data of the video is determined based on a time range indicated by the first reverse playback time point and a pre-loading time threshold. The subdata corresponds to the time range of the video. The subdata is pre-loaded to obtain pre-loaded video data. Further, a first reverse playback video frame corresponding to the first reverse playback time point is obtained from the pre-loaded video data for playback in the reverse order.
COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED METHOD, DEVICE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR SETTING A PLAYBACK SPEED OF MEDIA CONTENT COMPRISING AUDIO
A computer implemented method for setting a playback speed of media content comprising audio, the media content having a defined normal playback speed, the method comprising: receiving an indication that the media content is to be played at a speed different from the normal playback speed of the media content, analysing the audio for determining a type of audio; and determining a playback speed different from the normal playback speed depending on the determined type of audio, and setting the playback speed of the media content to the determined playback speed.
DYNAMIC PRESENTATION SURFACE AND PRESENTER IMAGING FOR A TRANSMITTING DEVICE IN A VIDEO COMMUNICATION SESSION
An electronic device, computer program product, and method are provided that automatically focus on meaningful content in an image stream during an instruction-oriented video communication session. The electronic device communicatively connects the electronic device via a network to second electronic device(s) during a video communication session. A controller of the electronic device identifies a person and a writing surface within an image stream from a local image capturing device. In response to determining that the person is attending to the writing surface, the controller communicates to a video communication session a first portion of the image stream that focusses on the writing surface. In response to determining that the person is not attending to the writing surface, the controller communicates to the video communication session via the at least one network interface, a second portion of the image stream that does not focus on the writing surface.
CAMERA USER INTERFACE WITH RECORDING SPACE MANAGEMENT
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing recording space for visual media. A computer system displays a camera preview and a recording space affordance that, when selected, initiates performing an operation associated with recording space available for recording media captured by the one or more cameras.
System and method for presenting virtual reality content to a user
This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.
METHOD AND APPARATUS OF PLAYING VIDEO, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus of playing a video, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which relates to a field of video processing. The method may include: receiving a video, and distinguishing a content of interest and a content of no interest in the video according to tag information added to the video, wherein the tag information contains tag information added to the video subsequent to recognizing the content of interest and the content of no interest in the video by a machine model pre-trained; and playing the content of interest and the content of no interest at different playing speeds, wherein a playing speed for the content of interest is greater than that for the content of no interest.
Compound data objects
The present disclosure describes a value referred to as a compound object that stores multiple values in a single cell, wherein those multiple values are organized according to a defined structure. The compound object may store multiple values according to a known defined data structure such as, for example, a record, vector, matrix, table, or array. In other embodiments, the compound object may store multiple values as any nested combination of any one of the known or user-defined data structures. Each of the values stored in the compound object are individually referenceable and can fully participate with spreadsheet functionality including calculations, referencing, and formatting.
