AUDIO DEVICE
An audio device includes a base portion a power supply circuit arranged on the base portion and configured to output electric power; a rotation body rotatably supported by the base portion and configured to, upon rotation of the rotation body, move a playback point of a piece of music; an electric circuit arranged on the rotation body; and a non-contact power feeding mechanism configured to supply in a non-contact manner the electric power output by the power supply circuit to the electric circuit in which the non-contact power feeding mechanism is arranged on a path from the power supply circuit to the electric circuit.
Assembled Voice Interaction
Assembled voice interaction techniques are leveraged in a digital medium environment. During a voice interaction with a voice assistant platform, user portions and voice assistant portions of a voice interaction with a voice assistant platform are received and stored in a sequential order. The user portions of the voice interaction, for example, may correspond to audio data or text data indicative of speech included as part of a request to the voice assistant platform. In contrast, the voice assistant portions of the voice interaction may correspond to output content returned by the voice assistant platform for output as part of a response to the request. An assembled voice interaction file is assembled by interleaving the stored user portions of the voice interaction with the stored voice assistant portions of the voice interaction based on the sequential order.
Generating content for a virtual reality system
The disclosure includes a system and method for generating virtual reality content. For example, the disclosure includes a method for generating virtual reality content that includes a stream of three-dimensional video data and a stream of three-dimensional audio data with a processor-based computing device programmed to perform the generating, providing the virtual reality content to a user, detecting a location of the user's gaze at the virtual reality content, and suggesting an advertisement based on the location of the user's gaze. Another example includes receiving virtual reality content that includes a stream of three-dimensional video data and a stream of three-dimensional audio data to a first user with a processor-based computing device programmed to perform the receiving, generating a social network for the first user, and generating a social graph that includes user interactions with the virtual reality content.
System and method for presenting virtual reality content to a user
This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.
IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
This invention provides an image capturing apparatus that has an image capturing portion and records captured image data into a recording medium, where the image capturing apparatus comprises an acquiring portion configured to acquire information indicating a standard of the recording medium from the recording medium, the standard being related to writing; and a control portion configured to, when at least two types of images are to be recorded as separate files from among images acquired from the image capturing portion, perform processing for recording into the recording medium in accordance with the information acquired by the acquiring portion and types of the two different types of images to be recorded.
Wearable Recording System With Memory Designation
A surveillance apparatus continuously records imaged data from a camera into a circular buffer in a local memory. When a record signal is received, the system records the video stream that was recorded before the record signal was received, and the video stream that is recorded after the record signal was received. The recorded segment is then write-protected, so that the surveillance apparatus does not overwrite the recorded segment. The recorded segment could then be sent to a remote memory via a wireless connection to free up local memory for future recording sessions.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENCODING AND DECODING HAPTIC INFORMATION IN MULTI-MEDIA FILES
A method for encoding haptic information inside a multi-media file having content includes changing a portion of the content in the multi-media file, and adding the haptic information to the changed portion of the content, the haptic information corresponding to a haptic signal for generating a haptic effect upon playback of the multi-media file. A method for decoding haptic information from inside a multi-media file having content includes locating the haptic information inside the multi-media file, and generating a haptic signal based on the located haptic information during playback of the content of the multi-media file. A method includes receiving a multi-media signal comprising an audio signal and a haptic signal with a receiver of a haptic device, and outputting a haptic effect with a haptic output device of the haptic device based on the haptic signal in the multi-media signal.
