PARTIAL SETUP OF TELEVISION RECEIVER STORAGE DEVICE
Embodiments are directed towards providing fast setup of a storage device communicatively coupled to a television receiver. During initial setup of the storage device, an initial portion of the storage device is partitioned to provide accessibility for the television receiver to store content. However, the initial partition is only a subset of the maximum storage capacity of the storage device, which results in a second remainder portion of the storage device that is inaccessible for the television receiver to store audiovisual content. In response to a triggering event, the television receiver initiates a full partition process to partition the remainder of the storage device that was previously inaccessible for storing content. Once partitioned, the television receiver can then utilize the remainder portion of the storage device for storing long-term recorded content. The television receiver also converts the initial partition into a buffer that is used to temporarily store content.
IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS AND IMAGE CAPTURING METHOD
In a high speed image capturing state, a camera signal processing circuit is not needed to perform a signal process at a high screen rate, but at a regular screen rate. In the high speed image capturing mode, raw data of 240 fps received from an image sensor 101 are recorded on a recording device 111 through a conversion processing section 201 and a recording device controlling circuit 210. Raw data that have been decimated and size-converted are supplied to a camera signal processing circuit 203 through a pre-processing circuit 202 and an image being captured is displayed on a display section 112 with a signal for which a camera process has been performed. In a reproducing state, raw data are read from the recording device 111 at a low screen rate according to a display performance of the display section 112 and the raw data that have been read are processed are processed by the pre-processing circuit 202 and the camera signal processing circuit 203 and a reproduced image is displayed by the display section 112.
Content identification and playback
Systems and methods for playing back content based on external content are provided. An example system and method may identify content based on an environment in which a content-playback device is located. The example system and method may also detect a playback-initiation action performed by a user of the content-playback device and identify a content-playback position based on the playback-initiation action. The example system and method may also trigger playback of the content on the content-playback device based on the identified content-playback position.
TRACKING INTERACTIVITY WITH A PRERECORDED MEDIA FILE
In a method for tracking interactivity with a prerecorded video file superimposed into a video, presentation instructions for displaying a prerecorded video file are displayed on a display device of a mobile electronic device, the presentation instructions including display conditions for displaying the prerecorded video file. A video of a scene is displayed on the display device of the mobile electronic device. Responsive to detecting at least one display condition of the display conditions, the prerecorded video file is displayed on the display device of the mobile electronic device, such that the video is partially obscured by the prerecorded video file. Responsive to the displaying the prerecorded video file, a display instance for the prerecorded video file is logged.
Fishing and sailing activity detection
Various implementations described herein are directed to a wearable device used to determine whether motion data and heart rate data correspond to a fishing activity. The wearable device may include a heart rate sensor and a motion sensor. The wearable device may include a computer system with a processor and memory. The memory may have a plurality of executable instructions. When the executable instructions are executed by the processor, the processor may receive motion data from the motion sensor, receive heart rate data from the heart rate sensor, and determine whether the received motion data and heart rate data corresponds to a fishing activity.
APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING AUDIO AND/OR IMAGE INFORMATION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for processing audio and/or image information, comprising a rectangular recess which is adapted for the placement of ID cards, a sensor which detects the identifier stored on an ID card and transmits it in the form of identifier-specific signals to a processing unit, in particular fewer than four and preferably two controls (16a,b) which are adapted for controlling digital content, and an output section which reproduces digital content or transmits it to an external reproduction device, the output section comprising a loudspeaker, a docking apparatus, and a mounting support which reduces the pressure on the docking apparatus when a multimedia device is docked onto it.

INTEGRATING DATA FROM MULTIPLE DEVICES
A recording system for an emergency response unit includes a first data collection device configured to record a first video, audio or data segment with an incident identifier and transmit a message including the incident identifier. A second data collection device may receive the message and, as appropriate, record at least a second video, audio or data segment with the incident identifier, allowing the first segment and the second segment to be associated using the incident identifier. In other embodiments, a first recording device may begin recording video, audio or legal evidence data with an incident identifier, and a control system may receive a message including the incident identifier from the first recording device, identify one or more additional recording devices located within a certain distance of the first recording device, and obtain recordings from the one or more additional recording devices.
Data transferring device and data transferring method
A data transferring device and a data transfer method. The data transferring device for transferring an audio-visual stream stored in a first medium to a second medium, includes: a reader comprising reading circuitry configured to read the audio-visual stream from the first medium; and a controller configured to: extract an audio packet and a video packet from the audio-visual stream; write the audio packet and video packet to the second medium; and store, in a memory, first location information indicating locations at which the audio packet and the video packet are written in the second medium, and second location information indicating locations at which the audio packet and the video packet are read from the first medium.
