METHODS, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEMS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF PATIENT CARE
Methods, apparatus, and systems for improving quality of patient care are described. the system can include an interactive interface that is configured to receive, from a practitioner or any skilled person, input for use in classifying the practitioners' patients into one or more groups based on certain identifying features. The identifying features can be any suitable features, such as the patient's age, medical history, family history, presence of a new medical condition (e.g., detection of possible diabetes during an ophthalmic test), etc. The system can also be configured to receive information from various patient databases, such as various electronic patient systems and electronic billing systems.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
Provided is a life support device including: a sensing information acquisition unit that acquires sensing information output from a sensor that senses a state of a person; a first estimation processor that executes first estimation processing of estimating a state of substance intake of the person based on the sensing information; a second estimation processor that executes second estimation processing of estimating a state of activity of the person, the state being correlated with the state of substance intake, based on the sensing information; a life support information generator that generates life support information on the person based on an execution result of the first estimation processing and an execution result of the second estimation processing; and a life support information output unit that outputs the life support information generated.
PREPAID BUNDLED HEALTH, DENTAL, AND VETERINARY SERVICES WITH VIRTUAL PAYMENT DISTRIBUTION
Apparatus and associated methods relate to presenting for selection services comprising at least one bundled set of healthcare services to be performed separately by respective providers, determining a bundle price for the at least one bundled set of healthcare services, and in response to receiving payment in an amount of the bundle price, generating a purchase data record selectively redeemable to receive each of the at least one bundled set of healthcare services, and transmitting a unique confirmation number generated for the purchase data record. One or more service of the bundled set may be a dental or veterinary service. The bundle price may be based on a location or time at which at least one service will be performed and may be determined using a user's remaining insurance deductible. Payment may be disbursed to multiple providers of the bundled set of healthcare services. A payment may be virtual funds.
System and method for making a recommendation for a user of a life management system
A life management system receives data from a client device worn by a user, the data comprising biotelemetry data and activity data collected about a user wearing the client device. The life management system generates snapshot information using information from a group consisting of: the biotelemetry data, activity data, social data associated with the user, and user profile information associated with the user. The life management system generates a recommendation using portions of the snapshot information, and updates the snapshot information with the recommendation. The life management system executes a recommendation associated with the snapshot information in accordance with the user controls associated with the user.
Seizure prediction based on comparison of biological information across wake and sleep periods
An apparatus for generating a prediction that a patient will experience a seizure by monitoring a patient's body temperature over time is provided. The apparatus may include a sensor to sense temperature. The apparatus may monitor, using the sensor, the body temperature of the patient and compare the body temperature over a first period of time and a second period of time. The apparatus may generate a prediction of whether the patient will experience a seizure following the second period of time based at least in part on a result of the comparing.

Systems, methods and devices for controlling the progression of myopia
An ophthalmic lens system for reducing the risk of progression of a myopic eye by selectively maintaining, inducing or creating asymmetry of the peripheral retinal profile for the eye. A method for reducing the risk of progression of myopia comprising determining the magnitude of asymmetry of the on-axis/off-axis refractive error profile or eye length profile of the eye and providing an ophthalmic lens system that corrects for and provides acceptable on-axis vision and simultaneously controls the position of the off-axis refractive error profile or eye length profile such that resultant profile of the eye is asymmetric.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS PROCESSING DATA
Methods and systems for analyzing data are described. In one embodiment, a method comprises a processor receiving a data analysis algorithm over a network and executing the data analysis algorithm, the data analysis algorithm analyzing data stored in a database using machine learning to identify a database organizational format, the data analysis algorithm identifying one or more locations for a set of data stored on the database based on identifying the database organizational format, the data analysis algorithm parsing the set of data to identify whether any entries in the database associated with the set of data includes a particular value, and the data analysis algorithm communicating over the network at least a first number of entries in the database that include the particular value and a second number of entries in the database that do not include the particular value.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING TREATABLE AND REMEDIABLE FACTORS OF DEMENTIA AND AGING COGNITIVE CHANGES
The present invention relates to a method and system for identifying treatable and remediable factors of Dementia and aging cognitive changes, to provide recommendations for aiding in the diagnosis of dementia or predementia symptoms in a subject. According to an embodiment of the invention, the method comprising: receiving data relative to medical history and examinations, processing said received data by applying an algorithm(s) relative to the Intensive Neuropsychogeriatric Evaluation, Treatment and Prevention (INETAP) method, and verifying whether said processed data is sufficient for indicating of advanced Dementia Potential Remediable Conditions (PRCs), and outputting data for aiding in the diagnosis of one of the following: dementia PRCs, pre-dementia PRCs, no dementia/pre-dementia, or Dementia without treatment horizon.
