In one embodiment, the method may include projecting a first structured light pattern onto the patient tissue sample, receiving a first reflection of the first structured light pattern from the patient tissue sample, and reconstructing the patient tissue sample based on the first reflection and the projected first structured light pattern. In another embodiment, the system may include a projector adapted or configured to project the first structured light onto the patient tissue sample, a charge-coupled device (CCD) adapted or configured to receive the first reflection from the patient tissue sample, and a reconstruction device adapted or configured to reconstruct the patient tissue sample based on the first reflection and the projected first structured light pattern.

System and method for patient-specific anatomical analyses

A system and method for determining patient-specific anatomical parameters to improve surgical outcomes. Some embodiments include processes for predicting the parameters of occluded anatomy. Some embodiment includes processes for more accurately identifying a center point of a ball and socket joint, such as a center point or center of rotation of a femoral head. Some embodiments include processes for identify a patient-specific spinal curvature, including more precisely determining patient specific spinal inflection points. The various steps can be performed automatically through trained computing devices and graphically presented to a surgeon for review and any necessary modifications.

ASSISTING MEDICAL PROCEDURES WITH LUMINESCENCE IMAGES PROCESSED IN LIMITED INFORMATIVE REGIONS IDENTIFIED IN CORRESPONDING AUXILIARY IMAGES
20220409057 · 2022-12-29 · ·

A solution is proposed for assisting a medical procedure. A corresponding method comprises acquiring a luminescence image (205F), based on a luminescence light, and an auxiliary image (205R), based on an auxiliary light different from this luminescence light, of a field of view (103); the field of view (103) contains a region of interest comprising a target body of the medical procedure (containing a luminescence substance) and one or more foreign objects. An auxiliary informative region (210Ri) representative of the region of interest without the foreign objects is identified in the auxiliary image (205R) according to its content, and a luminescence informative region (210Fi) is identified in the luminescence image (205F) according to the auxiliary informative region (210Ri). The luminescence image (205F) is processed limited to the luminescence informative region (210Fi) for facilitating an identification of a representation of the target body therein. A computer program and a corresponding computer program product for implementing the method are also proposed. Moreover, a computing device for performing the method and an imaging system comprising it are proposed. A medical procedure based on the same solution is further proposed.

Methods, systems and computer readable media for computerized prediction of body parameters such as body fat percentage (BFP) and modeling of a subject (e.g., a human body) are described.

Sacroiliac Joint Stabilization Prostheses
20220409381 · 2022-12-29 ·

Prostheses are described for stabilizing dysfunctional sacroiliac (SI) joints. The prostheses are sized and configured to be press-fit into surgically created pilot SI joint openings in dysfunctional SI joint structures. The prostheses have a pontoon shape with opposed elongated partially cylindrical sections connected by a bridge section. The partially cylindrical sections and, in some instances, the bridge section have a porous structure.

SYSTEM FOR A THERMAL MONITORING SECURITY CAMERA
20220417453 · 2022-12-29 ·

A system for a thermal monitoring security camera is disclosed, including at least one camera positioned to monitor a facility. An image processing module receives imagery from the at least one camera and analyzes the imagery to determine, via a facial recognition module, an identity of an individual within the imagery and the presence or absence of a mask on the face of the individual. At least one thermal camera monitors the temperatures of each individual sensed by the thermal camera. An alert module transmits an alert if the temperature is above a threshold temperature. A security system provides access or prevent access to the facility.

Image generation apparatus, conductivity acquisition apparatus, image generation method, and program

An image generation apparatus includes a plurality of electrodes, a plurality of sensor cells, and a controller configured to provide a tomographic image of a measurement object on the basis of an intensity of a magnetic field generated by an alternating current supplied via the plurality of electrodes. The controller acquires the intensity of the magnetic field via the plurality of sensor cells.

SURGICAL SUPPORT SYSTEM, SURGICAL SUPPORT METHOD, AND INFORMATION STORAGE MEDIUM

A surgical support system includes a processor and a storage device. The processor performs processing of displaying on a monitor a surgery schedule screen indicating a surgery schedule. The storage device stores surgery content information, operating room information, and surgery time information in association with a surgery on the surgery schedule. The processor receives real-time surgery information regarding real-time surgery state from an operating room, and performs processing of displaying on the monitor the surgery schedule screen in which the real-time surgery information is associated with the surgery on the surgery schedule.

Forward-Looking Precision Imaging Surgical Probe

A precision forward-looking image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic surgical probe and needle insert for microsurgery in support of imagery, neurology, neurosurgical procedures, and ophthalmic surgical applications comprising an introducer needle (stylet), a fiber carrier, a therapeutic conduit, and a spirographic method for scanning a target and associated algorithms to create and render a reconstructed image for display to a physician in real-time or near real-time. The probe implements Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to provide high-resolution extended imagery of an intended therapeutic or target tissue. A separate therapeutic conduit provides surgical access for therapeutic devices such as a cutting or ablation laser, an RF electrode for locally heating tissue, a lumen for local injection of neurolytics/paralytics, placement of electrodes for neuromodulation, and deployment of a micro-endoscopic imaging tool. A third working channel supports the delivery of neurolytic and other fluids.
