Wireless power transmission system

A wireless power transmission system includes: a power transmitting device; a power receiving device; and a relay device. In a state where the relay side switch circuit has the relay side rectifier and the relay side load in a non-contact state, and the receiving side switch circuit has the receiving side rectifier and the receiving side load in a non-contact state, power is transmitted from the power transmitting device to the power receiving device via the relay device. After a DC voltage output from the receiving side rectifier reaching a requested voltage of the power receiving device, the receiving side switch circuit connects the receiving side rectifier to the receiving side load at a timing T2 that is different from a timing T1 at which the relay side switch circuit connects the relay side rectifier to the relay side load.

Wireless power transfer standard selector of power receiving unit and method therefor

A wireless power transfer standard selector of a power receiving device and a method therefor are disclosed. A wireless power transfer standard selector according to one embodiment comprises: a frequency sensor for sensing an input frequency of a rectifier; a boot attempt counter for counting and storing the number of bootings in which an output voltage of a power converter is generated and then disappears; and a selection unit for selecting a wireless power transfer standard method by using the input frequency sensed through the frequency sensor and/or the number of bootings counted through the boot attempt counter.

POWER CONVERTER

An assembly for power converting includes a circuit board, a power switching circuit mounted on the circuit board, an inductor coil that includes a winding and two ends, a magnetic core that is surrounded by the winding of the inductor coil, and a magnetic mixture that encapsulates the circuit board, the power switching circuit, the inductor coil and the magnetic core. The winding of the inductor coil is stacked above the power switching circuit and is sufficiently large to fill up a size of the assembly.

Inductive power transfer apparatus

A magnetic flux pad for receiving or generating magnetic flux. The pad includes two pole areas (11, 12) associated with a magnetically permeable core 14. Coils 17 define the pole areas. The pad allows useable flux to be generated at a significant height above a surface of the pad.
