Control of light sources on an intraoral mirror with an integrated camera
Disclosed embodiments integrate a camera into an intraoral mirror. Integrating a camera into an intraoral mirror provides an efficient way to record and display what is visible to the healthcare provider in the mirror.
Mixing chamber and handpiece
A mixing chamber for a handpiece of a medical device, in particular a dental abrasive jet device, having a first supply line for a first fluid stream, in particular a liquid fluid flow, and a second supply line for a second fluid flow, in particular a powder/air mixture, where the two supply lines extend along a central axis and the second supply line-ends within the mixing chamber in an outlet the mixing chamber having a mixing region, in which the first fluid flow is deflected towards the second fluid flow, downstream of the outlet, and an accelerating region in which the first supply line extends parallel to the second supply line over the length of at least 3 mm.
Dental milling blank for the production of permanent indirect restorations and computer-aided process for producing the permanent indirect restorations
A dental milling blank for the production of permanent indirect restorations in the CAD/CAM process, characterized in that it has a water sorption WSP of less than/equal to 18 μg/mm.sup.3, measured according to ISO 4049 and an E modulus E greater than/equal to 13 GPa, measured according to the ADA specification No. 27 and a quotient Q of WSP/E of less than 1.35 μg/(GPa×mm.sup.3) and consists of the polymerization product of a radically curable dental composition, which comprises a) inorganic fillers, wherein the total mass of the inorganic fillers is at least 83 wt. %, based on the total mass of the composition, b) radically polymerizable monomers, c) one or more initiators for radically curing.
TREATMENT METHODS FOR MEDICAL AND DENTAL IMPLANTS, PERIODONTAL DISEASES AND MEDICAL PROCEDURES
Dental and medical treatments and methods, including treating gum disease, using peroxide gel and a viscous antimicrobial including a topical antibacterial agent, a topical antiviral agent, a topical antibiotic, a topical antifungal agent, a topical antiseptic agent, or a topical anti-intermicrobial agent to chemically debride and curettage a treatment area. Treatments and methods include non-surgically scaling and root plaining the treatment area with dental tools such as periodontal scalers and/or curettes during the active period of the chemical debridement. The working surfaces of dental and medical tools can be sharpened for optimal root and tooth surfacing during treatment. Treatment can include instructions for co-therapy by or on behalf of treatment subjects between visits and for maintenance care.

TOOTH ENAMEL REPLACEMENT
A method for performing enamel replacement on a tooth in the mouth of a person, the method including: beginning an arch reformulation therapy (ART) process, selecting a tooth for an enamel replacement process to be performed on, identifying a surface of the tooth to have a dental composite material adhered to as part of the enamel replacement process, discluding multiple teeth during the ART process including the selected tooth, preparing the identified surface of the selected tooth for adherence of a dental composite material, the preparation including application of a preparation material to the surface of the tooth, and applying the dental composite material to the prepared surface.
Medical device having a valve for autoclavability
A medical device with a valve for autoclavability is disclosed. The medical device may include a cavity. A channel connects the cavity to an autoclave environment. The channel has a distal end and proximal end. The distal end of the channel may open to the autoclave environment and the proximal end may open to the cavity. A valve may be positioned in or near the channel. The valve may permit gas to flow from the cavity when a pressure inside the cavity is greater than a pressure in the autoclave environment outside the cavity. The valve may also prevent gas from flowing into the cavity when the pressure in the autoclave environment outside the cavity is greater than the pressure inside the cavity.
Pinch Proxi Mark
A crown handling device is provided to allow an operator to hold the crown between fingers. The crown handling device comprises a matrix member; and a pinch holding member having a substantially round shape and a plurality of openings for inserting therethrough the matrix member secured to one side of the pinch holding member.
