ARTICLES INCLUDING A COUPLING TO ENGAGE A TOOL, KITS, ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING METHODS OF MAKING SAME, AND METHODS OF COMPUTING MODELS OF THE ARTICLES
The present disclosure provides an additive manufactured article including a first portion and a second portion integral to the first portion. The second portion includes a coupling configured to engage a tool, as well as a frangible section at a connection point to the first portion. Further, a method of making the article is provided, including obtaining a photopolymerizable material and selectively curing the photopolymerizable material to form the article. Another method is provided, including obtaining a digital three-dimensional model of a patient's dental anatomy comprising a tooth in need of restoration and computing a digital three-dimensional model of a dental restoration to fit within the patient's dental anatomy, including determining a shape of the dental restoration. Optionally, the patient's dental anatomy may be prepared for a dental restoration prior to obtaining the digital three-dimensional model. A kit is also provided, including the article and a tool configured to attach to the coupling of the article. Having a coupling integral to the rest of the article allows for easy attachment to a handling tool.
CLINICAL DISPENSER AND APPLICATOR
The present invention relates to a clinical dispenser and applicator and, more particularly, to a clinical dispenser and applicator that is structured to hold and dispense a micro amount (one to several drops) of liquids/solvents in a clinical setting.
ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE IRRIGATOR APPARATUS AND METHOD
An electrical discharge irrigation device includes a power source to produce power of a first voltage, a circuit coupled to the power source to convert the power of the first voltage to power of a second voltage where the second voltage is higher than the first voltage, a trigger to activate the circuit, an igniter coupled to the circuit to produce a spike, an electrical charge storage component coupled to the igniter the electrical charge storage component becoming conductive and storing an electrical charge after receiving the spike, and an output tip. The output tip includes an electrode and insulating material as an outer layer.

Retainer, combination of a packaging and a retainer, adapter and a retainer with a support structure for a surgical device
A retainer for holding at least a first surgical device, preferably a dental implant, and a second surgical device, preferably a healing screw, including a first body part and a second body part. The first and second body parts are pivotable relative to each other, and the first body part includes a first support structure for holding the first surgical device and the retainer includes at least one secondary support structure for the second surgical device. The first and the second body parts are pivotable in relation to each other to at least three predefined positions. In a first position, the first and second surgical devices are locked in the retainer; in a second position, the first surgical device is removable from the support structure, but not the second surgical device; and in a third position, the second surgical device is removable from the retainer.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL ORAL SURGERY TOOL AND METHODS
An instrument for performing periodontal surgery comprises a longitudinally extending handle, a blade section comprising at least one cutting edge, a connector comprising a first end coupled to the handle and a second end coupled to the blade section. The connector spaces the blade section laterally from the handle, relative to a longitudinal extent of the handle, and the cutting edge(s) define a cutting plane that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal extent of the handle. The instruments provide a three-dimensional structure that facilitates periodontal surgery.
INTEGRALLY-FORMED FLEXIBLE RUBBER APPLICATOR STICK
The present invention discloses an integrally-formed flexible rubber applicator stick, and relates to the technical field of applicator sticks. The integrally-formed flexible rubber applicator stick includes a stick body that is connected to a soft connection region at one end thereof and connected to a handle at the other end thereof; a bristle head is mounted at an end of the soft connection region, and has multiple soft rubber bristles distributed thereon; an annular discarding groove is set up between the handle and the stick body; and an anti-slip thread is set up on the end of the stick body that is adjacent to the soft connection region. The integrally-formed flexible applicator stick provided by the present invention makes the production process simple and is not prone to losing bristles during use.
Systems and methods for determining a tooth trajectory
A method and a system for determining a tooth trajectory for a given tooth of a subject are provided. The method comprises: generating, by executing an optimization algorithm, based on a 3D model of the given tooth, a plurality of segments defining a tooth trajectory of the given tooth from its initial position to its target position. The executing comprises: in response to determining that there is an occurrence of a collision, iteratively optimizing, based on the stress values range, an initially applied force, until a maximum displacement of the 3D model of the given tooth is caused, in the predetermined interval, from a start position associated with the given segment towards the target position associated with the given tooth provided that an extent of the collision between the 3D model of the given tooth and the 3D model of the at least one adjacent tooth is minimized.
Implant Scaler
A dental scaler for use in cleaning dental implants. The scaler includes a handle having a generally central axis extending along the length thereof, a handle tip end affixed to the handle, and a rod affixed to the handle tip end, wherein the rod comprises at least six sections, one angle, and a curved tip.
Systems and methods for determining surface topology and associated color of an intraoral structure
A device for determining the surface topology and associated color of a structure, such as a teeth segment, includes a scanner for providing depth data for points along a two-dimensional array substantially orthogonal to the depth direction, and an image acquisition means for providing color data for each of the points of the array, while the spatial disposition of the device with respect to the structure is maintained substantially unchanged. A processor combines the color data and depth data for each point in the array, thereby providing a three-dimensional color virtual model of the surface of the structure. A corresponding method for determining the surface topology and associate color of a structure is also provided.
