Dental contact matrix limited
A dental contact matrix system .[.is described for the placement of dental fillings. The dental contact matrix system.]. includes a matrix, a retainer for placing and retaining the .[.5.]. matrix and an elastic wedge. The retainer includes two lugs or tines that fit between two teeth on the buccal and lingual sides of the teeth. The lugs are connected by .Iadd.a .Iaddend.spring member that presses the lugs against the lingual and buccal sides of the teeth. There is an adaptation to hold the elastic wedge in a stretched condition between the lugs.
Medical or dental handpiece with shared electrical line
A medical or dental handpiece comprises a lighting device for the emission of radiation, in particular of visible light, onto a treatment site, a temperature sensor preferably located in the interior of the handpiece, and at least one shared electrical signal line provided in the handpiece for the lighting device and the temperature sensor. The lighting device and the temperature sensor are both operatively connected to the at least one shared electrical signal line. A medical or dental treatment device comprises such a handpiece and a control and/or regulation device electrically connected to the at least one shared electrical signal line provided in the handpiece, which is designed to emit a first electrical signal assigned to the lighting device and a second electrical signal assigned to the temperature sensor.
CONTROLLING MOTION OF MAGNETICALLY-DRIVEN MICROSCOPIC PARTICLES
Devices, systems and methods for controlling motion of magnetic-driven nanobots are provided. Based on a selection indicative of a pattern of movement of the nanobots (200), a signal can be generated indicative of a pattern of magnetic field to be produced. Electrical signals can be generated to cause production of the pattern of magnetic field. The electrical signals can be provided to a device (300, 800) which is adaptable for being placed on the head or around a tooth of the patient. A first coil (502, 602, 804) of the device can receive the electrical signals and produce the pattern of the magnetic field to drive the magnetically-driven nanobots from a pulp region of the tooth into the dentinal tubules.

Methods and Devices for Interproximal Dental Restoration
Methods and devices for interproximal dental restoration are disclosed. One version of the present disclosure provides a method for the restoration of a tooth including a top surface, and an interproximal surface facing an adjacent tooth. The method of restoration includes removing a portion of the top surface of the tooth, and a portion of the interproximal surface of the tooth to form a hollow cavity preparation extending from the top surface to the interproximal surface. The removed portion of the interproximal space is surrounded by a dental matrix. Restoration of the tooth further includes moving the dental matrix away from the hollow cavity preparation towards the adjacent tooth, and bonding at least a section of the dental matrix to the tooth. Light-curable composite resin is then injected into the cavity preparation and light cured.

Kit and Method for Home Use for Interproximal Reduction (IPR) Stripping of Teeth for Braces or Aligners
An interproximal reduction (IPR) kit and method for using the same. The patient takes their own dental impression and submits it to a dental service provider for a treatment plan. A set of aligners based on the treatment plan are then delivered to the patient as part of a kit. The kit also includes a set of written instructions and/or a treatment diagram and a plurality of strips used to reduce the widths of specific spots of the patient's teeth according to the treatment plan. The patient follows the reapproximation instructions or is instructed to go to a website for supervision for the performance of the reapproximation process. After sufficient instruction, the patient applies the plurality of strips to the correct spots between their teeth. Once reapproximation is complete, the patient is ready to begin wearing the aligners as dictated by the treatment plan.
Tool for handling palatal expanders
Tool for handling palatal expanders, including two opposed jaws adapted to clamp at least one body of a palatal expander, a handle, and actuation means adapted to move said jaws between a clamping position on said at least one body and respectively a release position, said jaws being bound elastically to one another and are normally spaced from each other, and said actuation means comprising a slider slidably mounted on the outer surfaces of the jaws, the slider being provided with a part adapted to interact with said outer surfaces so as to compress the jaws by pushing them toward each other when it is made to slide along a first direction and free them when it is made to slide along a second direction, said actuation means being adapted to firmly but reversibly lock the jaws in said clamping position.

Parabolic instrument
An instrument comprising a shank and a working portion, the working portion having a tip and a plurality of flutes being defined by at least two lands having a land margin; wherein the working portion has a parabolic cross-section defining opposing convexed surfaces extending between at least two opposing land margins.
