CONNECTOR WITH SELF-POWERED MATING DETECTION
A connector with self-powered mating detection is disclosed. An example disclosed connector pair includes a first connector. The example connector pair also includes a piezoelectric sensor attached to the first connector. The example piezoelectric sensor generates a voltage when the first connector and a second connector are mated. The example piezoelectric sensor generates a voltage when the first connector and a second connector are unmated. The example connector pair also includes a memory circuit electrically coupled to the piezoelectric sensor to record a connection event in response to detecting voltage generated by the piezoelectric sensor(s). Additionally, the example connector pair includes an RFID circuit electrically coupled to the memory circuit. The example RFID circuit transmits the connection events.
MOTOR KILL SWITCH ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to motor safety devices as used in increasing numbers for the killing of engines or disengaging propulsion units from motors, when there are no operators to maintain control of an apparatus or vehicle such as jet-ski, boat, go-kart and the like or personnel to oversee use of a motorised tool or the like. Motor boat operators on a boat have been known to fall overboard without being detected by the operator of the boat. Such runaway boats have been known to seriously injure the operator of the boat in the water since a runaway boat tends to circle back to the place where the operator has fallen overboard. The present invention is also applicable to other types of equipment such as motorised gymnasium equipment, hand operated power tools, such as agricultural and arboriculturist equipment and wood working tools.

Hand-operated safety switch with time delay
An hand-operated safety switch with time delay (1) comprises a switching device (2) adapted to be anchored to a fixed part of the protection and provided with switching means (5) adapted to be connected to a plant to be controlled, an operating device (3) adapted to be anchored to a movable part of the protection for interacting with the switching means (5) upon the closing of the movable part. The switching device (2) comprises a locking mechanism (9) associated with the switching means (5) and adapted to selectively hold/release the operating device (3) and hand-operable unlocking means (10) operatively coupled with the locking mechanism (9) for unlocking the operating device (3) with a predetermined time delay with respect of the switching of the power supply circuit by the switching means (5). The switching device (2) has sensor means (13) operatively coupled with the switching means (5) for modifying their operative condition in function of an inlet signal. The operating device (3) also comprises a transmitter (14) adapted to send a proximity signal to be received as input by the sensor means (13) for controlling the switching means (5) when said transmitter (14) is place at a predetermined minimum distance from the sensor means (13). The locking mechanism (9) also comprises an inner passage (29) adapted to allow the passage of means for connecting the sensor means (13) with the switching means (5) avoiding the interference with the unlocking means (10).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A SAFETY INTERLOCK DOOR SWITCH TOOL
An apparatus and method for a safety interlock door switch tool are disclosed. An example embodiment includes: support posts having a top end and a bottom end; base elements coupled to the bottom end of the support posts, an attachment mechanism being coupled to the base elements; a grip element coupled to the top end of the support posts; and a plurality of switch depression surfaces formed between the support posts, each of the plurality of switch depression surfaces being configured to engage and activate a particular type of safety interlock door switch.
Shift assembly structure of switch device
A shift assembly structure of switch device includes a connection seat formed with an assembling hole for rotatably connecting with a main body. A latch section is disposed on the bottom of the connection seat for latching and assembling with a wire-connection module. The connection seat has an arm protruding from the connection seat and an (elastic) restriction section formed on the arm. A shift body is assembled in the connection seat. The shift body is formed with a ridge section and a push/press section. When the shift body is moved from a first position to a second position, the ridge section is permitted to directly pass through the restriction section into a locked state. After the push/press section pushes the restriction section, the main body is unlocked from the connection seat, whereby the assembly of the main body and the connection seat is controllable.
Safety switch
A safety switch (2) with a latching unit (12), by means of which an associated actuator (3) is held in a latched position. The latching unit (12) has an opening (9) and a blocking element. In a latched position, the blocking element projects into the opening (9) and rear-engages an actuator head (8) of the actuator (3), which is in the latched position. The blocking element is held in the latched position by means of a positioning element with a setting force. When the actuator head (8) is inserted into or removed from the opening (9), the actuator head (8) pivots the blocking element out against the setting force.
Connector with interlock circuit
A connector 10 disclosed by an embodiment includes a cover (service cover 20) having a cover housing 21 and a cover connector 40, the cover connector 40 being integrally provided to the cover housing 21, and a device-side connector 50 having a receptacle 52, the cover housing 21 being fittable into the receptacle 52, a mating connector 60 configured to close an interlock circuit by being connected to the cover connector 40 being disposed inside the receptacle 52. The cover housing 21 includes preceding guide portions 27 configured to guide the cover connector 40 into a proper posture to be connectable to the mating connector 60 by sliding on an opening edge part 56 of the receptacle 52 prior to the connection of the cover connector 40 and the mating connector 60.
