Circuit interrupter
A circuit interrupter includes a fixed terminal, a movable contactor, a moving mechanism, a squib, and accommodation. The fixed terminal includes a fixed contact. The movable contactor includes a movable contact connected to the fixed contact. The moving mechanism is configured to move the movable contactor from a closed position where the movable contact is connected to the fixed contact to an open position where the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The squib is configured to generate gas by combustion. The accommodation is for accommodating the fixed contact and the movable contactor. In the circuit interrupter, the gas is introduced into the accommodation.
PYROTECHNIC DRIVE DEVICE
A pyrotechnic drive device includes a housing (3) provided with a combustion chamber (5) having pyrotechnic material (15) as well as an activation device (13). The combustion chamber is delimited at least in an initial state on all sides by combustion chamber walls (3, 7, 13, 17, 33, 35) formed in at least one partial region by respective pressure-receiving surface or respective pressure-receiving element (17, 35). Each pressure-receiving impact of a pressure-receiving element (17, 35) is impacted after the activation of the pyrotechnic material (15) in such a way by the gas pressure generated in this manner that the pressure-receiving element (17, 35) is moved and/or deformed (17, 35) and/or a mechanical impulse is thus transmitted via the pressure-receiving element (17, 35) to an element to be driven (19) so that a connected substance (25) is transmitted. The residual volume of the combustion chamber (5), in which no pyrotechnic material (15) is provided in the initial state, is filled with a liquid, a gel-like or pasty filling material (21), and/or a soft, rubber-like material.

DISCONNECTING SWITCH FOR HIGH DIRECT OR ALTERNATING CURRENTS AT HIGH VOLTAGE
A switch (10), particularly a disconnecting switch (10) for high direct currents and alternating currents at high voltages, can be transferred from a conducting position into a disconnecting position. The switch (10) is includes a housing (12), a first contact (28), a second contact (30), a switching piston (24) guided by the housing (12) with a connecting element (22), which establishes an electrical connection in the connecting position between the first contact (28) and the second contact (30). The housing (12) defines an interior space surrounding the connecting element (22). The connecting element (22) extends at least partially in the interior space (18) and is filled with an insulating medium (20), and the switch is designed such that a mechanical movement of the switching piston (24) transfers the switch (10) from the connecting position into the disconnecting position. The switching piston (24) mechanically impacts the connecting element (22) such that the electrical connection between the first contact (28) and the second contact (30) is interrupted in at least one disconnecting location.
Bypass switch for HVDC transmission
A bypass switch for high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission is provided. The bypass switch includes a housing, a fixed contactor disposed in the housing and electrically connected to a first portion of a HVDC transmission circuit, a movable contactor movably disposed in the housing at a position spaced apart from the fixed contactor and electrically connected to a second portion of the HVDC transmission circuit, an insulation member coupled to a side of the movable contactor, an explosive actuator disposed at one side of the insulation member and exploded according to an electrical signal, and a piston mechanism which is moved by the force of gas generated due to the explosion of the explosive actuator, applies force to move the insulation member, and allows the fixed contactor and movable contactor to be electrically connected to each other.
