METHOD FOR REMOVING RESIDUAL ACID OF IMPLANT
The present disclosure relates to a method for removing residual acid of implant that has been surface treated using acid, the method including thermal decomposition step of thermally decomposing and removing the acid remaining on the implant; base treatment step of treating the acid remaining on the implant with base, thereby neutralizing and removing the acid; and washing step of washing and removing the acid and the base remaining on the implant with washing water.
According to the present disclosure, the acid remaining on the surface of the fixture can be effectively removed, and thus there is an effect of preventing the problem of bone loss that may occur near the placed implant.
Dental / Prosthetic Implant
Improvements in a dental/prosthetic implant is disclosed. The implant includes interior and exterior threaded surfaces. The use of both interior and exterior expanding threaded surfaces for integrations of the insert and a prosthetic with the same implant. The implant is immediately usable under load and promotes rapid integration with bone growth. The expanded insert essentially makes contact with the tapped bone surfaces where loads can be immediately applied so a person can utilize the prosthetic implant. The implant can further include security devices GPS, ID with medical records making removal of the implant difficult to extract. A cushioning member may be further integrated. The implant/abutment can include a surface with a plurality of contacts with sufficient gold contact points to attach residual nerve endings, during implanting surgery to provide nerve identification, send, receive, target so as to exploit proprioceptive memory or retraining.
Dental implant positioning
Methods, devices, systems, and series of appliances are provided for dental implant positioning. One method for positioning an implant with dental treatment includes determining an implant location based on a virtual model of an optimized dental occlusion, moving one or more teeth using a first number of a series of dental appliances, from a first orientation to a second orientation, the second orientation exposing the implant location, placing an implant at the exposed implant location using a landmark included in at least one of the series of dental appliances, repositioning one or more teeth using a second number of the series of dental appliances, from the second orientation to a successive orientation.
Highly self-tapping dental implant system with hybrid connection and parallel double cone locking between prosthetic abutment, implant and infernal screw
Highly self-tapping dental implant system with hybrid cone type connection and interlocking rails, which allows high insertion (or removal) torque and double parallel cone locking between the implant, prosthetic abutment and internal screw, even in its 3.0 mm diameter embodiment, and gives the whole system high primary and secondary stability, optimal watertightness thanks to the double cone sealing, as well as predictable long-term fixation of the dental prosthesis on the implant.
Dental attachment assembly cap and method of use
A dental attachment assembly and method anchors a dental appliance with an implant and has an abutment member attached to the implant, a retention member in releasable snap engagement with the abutment member, and a cap secured in a recess of the dental appliance and in releasable swivel engagement with the retention member to position and secure the dental appliance onto the implant. The cap includes a cavity with a rounded, concave inner surface which engages with the retention member, an interior top surface of the cavity with a concave recess extending radially along an outer periphery of the interior top surface of the cavity to allow for rotation of the retention member within the cap. A central portion of the interior top surface of the cavity surrounded by the concave recess therefore protrudes vertically into the cavity to minimize vertical displacement of the retention member as it rotates.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR ADHESION TO SURFACES
The present disclosure features adhesive compositions and methods of use thereof related to the medical, veterinary, and dental fields.
Annular resilient retention member
A dental tool, such as an insertion tool for a dental implant, including a shaft extending along a longitudinal axis and having a distal end and a proximal end, the tool further including an annular resilient retention member formed of a metal material and connected to the shaft such that at least a section of the member protrudes from a surface of the shaft.
Bone foundation guide system and method
A bone foundation guide system has a bone foundation guide including a body that is contoured to reversibly affix to a bone segment of a dental implant surgical site. The body is further contoured to guide the cutting of a portion of the bone segment from a dental implant surgical site and alternatively support a dental implant surgical guide. The body is further contoured to support a bone foundation guide prosthesis as an alternative to the dental implant surgical guide. The bone foundation guide prosthesis combines with the body to accommodate the bone segment portion as placed through the body prior to the bone segment portion being removed from the dental implant site through the use of the body.
DEVICE FOR RETRACTING SOFT TISSUE FOR APPOSITIONAL BONE RECONSTRUCTION
A titanium screw that permits the adaptation of PEEK (polyether ether ketone) capsules at both ends, enabling vertical and horizontal, uni or bidirectional appositional bone reconstructions. The screw has a length selected between 6, 8 and 10 mm; whereas the PEEK capsules have a diameter of 4.5 mm and a height of 1.5 mm. Accordingly, it is possible to retract the soft tissue and maintain the space necessary for bone reconstruction. By minimizing compression to the bone graft, this device optimizes tissue reconstruction, oftentimes crucial for the placement of implants.
Assembly comprising a resorbable material having antibacterial activity
The invention relates to an arrangement (1) comprising at least one structural element (2) made of an absorbable material with an antibacterial effect with a mount, which possesses an aspect ratio greater than 10 and whereat the material is a rapidly corroding magnesium alloy. The invention further relates to a mount (10) with an arrangement (1) carried by the mount (10) comprising at least one structural element (2) made of an absorbable material with an antibacterial effect.
