A keyswitch uses a combination of springs connected in serial for providing a return force to a keycap of the keyswitch. When the keycap moves toward a base of the keyswitch beyond a transition position, one of the springs stops continuously deforming. It leads to an increment of the elastic coefficient of the combination of springs and an increment of the elastic stored energy by the combination of springs. Therefore, during a pressing on the keycap, the keycap can provide a light force feedback and then a heavy force feedback to a user. Further, the keyswitch can use a switch with a lateral motion, which can reduce influence of a resilient force produced by the switch on the up and down movement of the keycap. The keyswitch also can use an elastic piece disposed beside the keycap, which can provide a tactile feedback to the user.

SWITCH

A switch includes a switch housing having a receiving space, a conductive fixed contact element and a conductive active contact element which are provided in the receiving space and being electrically connected to two terminals of the switch respectively, an actuating member reciprocating movable in a predetermined actuating direction between a rest position and an actuated position, and a conductive spring contact element movable with the actuating element. The spring contact element is in constant contact with the fixed contact element and switched between a state of being in contact with a conductive contact surface of the active contact element and a state of being disconnecting with the conductive contact surface of the active contact element. The actuating element is moved back from the actuated position to the rest position due to spring force of the spring contact element.

Hand-actuated transmitter unit

In order to improve a hand-actuated transmitter unit for vehicles, in particular for handlebar-controlled vehicles, comprising a housing, an actuating lever which is movable relative to the housing and is coupled to a transmission element such that an actuation of the actuating lever is transmitted by means of the transmission element to a slave unit, such that further functions of a vehicle can be controlled, it is proposed that a detector unit which detects with at least one detector a transition of the actuating lever from a non-actuated state to an actuated state and vice versa is associated with the transmitter unit.

Intelligent lighting control apparatuses, systems, and methods

The present disclosure provides light switch modules and methods of implementing a light switch module for a lighting control system. The light switch modules include a light switch actuator including an actuation surface. The light switch actuator is movable to connect an electrical flow path and to activate a tactile display housed in the light switch actuator. One or more tactile motions are applied on the actuation surface of the light switch actuator for selecting a lighting setting from among a plurality of lighting settings using the tactile display.

Magnetic press key

A magnetic press key includes a housing and a central shaft body disposed in the housing, wherein the bottom of the central shaft body is extended into the housing, and the central shaft body can reciprocate in the vertical direction in a base after the key cap seat is pressed, a first magnetic element is provided on the upper section of the central shaft body, a second magnetic element which can move up and down is provided under the coaxiality of the first magnetic element, and a third magnetic element is provided in the housing. The first magnetic element and the second magnetic element generate repulsive or attractive magnetic force, and the magnitude of the repulsive or attractive magnetic force can be adjusted by changing the magnitude of the energizing current of the energized coil, so that the use hand feeling of the key cap seat is improved.

Multiple-Position Momentary Electrical Push Switch With Configurable Activation Zones
20220157540 · 2022-05-19 ·

A momentary electrical push switch that can be configured for 2 or more activation positions. The switch has a top surface, or “key” top, which is pressed down upon in different areas to actuate the switch's different activation positions. The key top can be of various shapes, such as quadrangles, circle, hexagon, etc., or irregular shapes, to suit a particular application. The key top can be divided into multiple segments, or activation zones, each corresponding to a different activation position of the switch. The key allows free-form movement when pressing down upon it, without requiring the user to use specific or narrowly-defined motions to actuate the various activation positions.
