The switch control circuit includes a processor configured to modulate the flow of electrical energy to the lighting circuit via a dimmer circuit to produce a plurality of lighting scenes by varying the illumination of the light bulb. The processor is, in response to receipt of a control command to discontinue illumination of the light bulb, configured to cause, for a first pre-specified period of time, the amperage of the current flowing from an alternating current power supply to the power circuit to be reduced, and open, for the first pre-specified period of time, the electrical connection between the switch control circuit and an electrical connector.

KEYBOARD THAT INCLUDES SHAPE MEMORY MATERIAL

Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can include a key height activation engine and a keyboard. The keyboard can include a plurality of keys and one or more of the plurality of keys can include a key height mechanism. The key height mechanism includes a shape memory material and when the key height mechanism is activated by the key height activation engine, the shape memory material raises the one or more of the plurality of keys that includes the key height mechanism from a first height to a second height.

A switch device and a music generation device are provided. A switch device comprising: a switch; a housing; a movable shaft that moves with respect to the housing to press the switch; an elastic member that biases the movable shaft to one end side of the movable shaft in an axial direction; and an arm for pressing the switch at a position eccentric from an axis of the movable shaft.

KEYBOARD DEVICE

A keyboard device includes plural keys, a control unit and a membrane switch circuit member. The membrane switch circuit member includes a first upper key switch and a first lower key switch. When the first upper key switch is triggered by the first key, a first key code corresponding to the first key is generated by the first upper key switch. When the first lower key switch is triggered by the first key, a second key code corresponding to the first key is generated by the first lower key switch. The control unit is connected with the membrane switch circuit member. If both of the first key code and the second key code are received by the control unit, a key signal is outputted. If either the first key code or the second key code is received by the control unit, the key signal is not outputted.

In an input device in which an electromagnetic force generated by applying current to a coil acts on an operation knob as a reaction force of an operation force, a repulsion magnet is disposed at one of a coil side yoke, a first yoke, or a second yoke to generate a repulsive force to a first magnet or a second magnet so as to offset the resultant of a first attraction force of the first magnet to the coil side yoke or the first yoke and a second attraction force of the second magnet to the coil side yoke or the second yoke.

ROTATION DETECTION DEVICE AND STYLUS PEN

A rotation detection device includes an operation member having an annular shape and configured to be rotatable about a rotation center axis; a base member disposed within the operation member; a switch configured to be pressed as the operation member rotates and disposed on the base member such that a rotation direction of the operation member coincides with a pressing direction; and a returning mechanism configured to return the operation member to an initial position by an elastic force. The returning mechanism is provided within the operation member, and is located opposite to the switch with the rotation center axis interposed between the returning mechanism and the switch.

Keyboard device and key structure thereof

A keyboard device includes a circuit board and plural key structures. Each key structure includes a keycap, a hinge element and a base. The hinge element includes a first lateral wing part, a second lateral wing part and a bendable part. The first lateral wing part is connected between the keycap and the base. The second lateral wing part is connected between the keycap and the base. The bendable part is connected between the first lateral wing part and the second lateral wing part. The bendable part is thinner than the first lateral wing part and the second lateral wing part. While the keycap is moved upwardly or downwardly relative to the base, a bending angle of the hinge element and a relative position between the first base shaft and the first receiving hole are changed.

Localized key-click feedback

Disclosed herein are techniques and systems for providing simulated, haptic feedback that is local to physical, non-actuating keys of a keyboard. A keyboard includes a plurality of non-actuating keys defined in a cover portion of the keyboard, a plurality of force-producing mechanisms coupled to a substrate underneath and adjacent the cover portion. The force-producing mechanisms may be positioned on suspended portions of the substrate that are mechanically isolated and arranged on the substrate to substantially correspond to a layout of the plurality of non-actuating keys. The force-producing mechanisms may be individually actuated to deflect the suspended portions of the substrate underneath the cover portion to create a tactile sensation for a user's finger that is local to a particular key. In some embodiments, the force-producing mechanisms are piezoelectric actuators.

Operating unit for an electrical apparatus
