A dental laser treatment apparatus may include an apparatus body including a laser beam generating device that generates a laser beam; a laser beam application device including an optical fiber that supplies the laser beam generated by the laser beam generating device and a handpiece that includes an application port for the laser beam attached on a distal portion of the optical fiber; and a cleaning solution supply unit that discharges sterilizing/cleaning solution from a sterilizing/cleaning solution supply unit.

This application relates to oral hygiene and/teeth cleaning devices and associated methods. The devices can be configured to have a shape that allows all or substantially all of a user's teeth to be cleaned at once. In some embodiments, the devices are configured to be useable, for example, without access to water or a bathroom. The devices can be used to freshen up and clean the user's mouth on-the-go. In some embodiments, the devices are disposable.

In accordance with one embodiment, a system and method include using a radiation source to generate a radiation; using an optic disposed to accept the radiation to internally reflect he radiation at a first end; using at least one side of the optic to contact a dental hard tissue; using the optic to couple some of the radiation into the dental hard tissue; and, using a controller to control a parameter of the radiation to heat a surface of the dental hard tissue.

Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral irrigation. One variation of a system for personalized oral irrigation comprises a fluid reservoir and a customized oral insert in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir. The oral insert comprises an arrangement of fluid openings positioned based on the individual oral or dental structures of a user's teeth to provide a customized fluid flow over the user's teeth. Also described herein are methods for generating an arrangement of fluid openings in a customized oral insert.
